Once the elixir was administered to Het-Iah, Aapep brought forward another task for the citizens of Egypt. His task was for the judgement of Se-Ptah for his crimes against Het-Iah. He alone could not pass judgement, nor could the gods pass judgement on a mortal. As citizens, we are tasked with deciding his fate. Aapep did say that the only punishment that would be acceptable for his crimes would be death. Now we as Egyptians must decide whether or not Se-Ptah should be put to death.

Near the Chariot Stop in Meroe there will be two chests; one labeled "Death" and one labeled "Freedom". We ask of you only to to place a single personal wooden chit in either box casting your vote for Se-Ptah's fate. Should his fate be death, the Temple will bring him in for punishment. However, if his fate is to freed from punishment, be aware that his activities in the past shall be forgiven completely and forever.

Now we ask you to cast your judgement on Se-Ptah! Aapep will return on Sunday to receive our decision.
