ADN Deep Well Consortium
This is a proposal and is subject to debate, discussion, changes, and whatever you feel is necessary.
The Idea
Deep Wells, being a very resource intensive structure, lend themselves to be regional wide projects. Therefore it is proposed to create a regional ADN public Deep Well which interested parties can help to build and then utilize the Petroleum it produces.
The Plan
Currently, Pirates has a Hades furnace in place at(332,6219) and Nigerian Businessmen intend to build theirs around the same location to minimize the area which pollution is spread. With these two structures in place ADN has the ground work to produce the large quantities of metal that are needed to produce a deep well. It is uncertain at this time whether Deep Wells produce pollution so the Deep Well will be placed around the same location.
In order to reduce the ability for abuse of the Deep Well it has been suggested that a holding corporation(guild) be created in order to maintain ownership of the Deep Well after being built. The ADN Deep Well Consortium guild will be made up of representatives of ADN guilds and it's only function will be the following:
The Guild
- To provide a community of guild representatives to organize the gathering of materials for the creation of a Deep Well
- To ensure that the Deep Well is controlled by ADN as a region
- In the rare event that the Deep Well is being abused by guilds outside of ADN, the Consortium can remove the public status of the Deep Well until such grievances are solved. Disputes within ADN will be solved by a duel to the death at the next public ATITD real life gathering.(Can't we all just get along?)
What This Is and What This Isn't
- The Consortium is a means of ADN to produce and maintain ownership of a regional wide structure
- The Consortium is a means of de-centralizing ownership of the Deep Well so that no single guild(except of course the Consortium which is a conglomeration of many ADN guilds) has say over the status of the Deep Well
- The Consortium isn't a place where powerful guilds will monopolize the Deep Well and small guilds will be left without recourse
- The Consortium isn't a venue where schedules and restrictions are placed on any guild within ADN except in rare cases where it is agreed upon that there is abuse present. The Deep Well will be a PUBLIC structure which anyone from anywhere can use in a friendly environment.
