Demonstrate the speed of your body and mind.

1) This test should show up in the calendar daily. There needs to be at least 9 (devs can better pick the number?) participants.

2) At the specified time, players should gather at the designated UBody to sign up for the test.

  • Participants will have all food buffs removed and for the duration of being a participant, cannot consume anything.
  • They also cannot use any method of fast travel, including chariots and spouse warps.
  • Airships are also forbidden (that can be another test).

3) After five minutes of sign up, a message in main will give the warning to all participants on the actual start of the test.

Such as:

  • "The test of the Marathon will begin in 30 seconds."
  • "The test of the Marathon will begin in 10 seconds."
  • "Ready, Set, Go!"

4) At the start of the race, participants are given coordinates to three not so nearby locations where a random object (like an incense holder) is spawned for the duration of the race. They must "tag" each (like looking for venery keys) in any order they want, then return to the UBody they started at. The first three to tag all three locations and "tag" the UBody starting position advances. Three advances for a pass.

5) The race automatically ends if either of these are met:

  • Three people have completed the race.
  • 12 hours have passed.

6) At any point, a participant can quit from the race using an option in "Self". However doing so means they are not allowed to join the remaining Marathons during that week.

The purpose for this is two fold:

  • Some people might really need to be elsewhere.
  • Somewhat mitigates people that "fix" the race.

Possible Principles:

  • Sign up for the test at a university.
  • Complete one marathon.
