After having read all of this and talked to several people as well as experimenting myself, the new players should be aware that several things are known and not clearly stated. When you click on a circle consider that it only exists as a graphic and the &amp;quot;aloy crystal&amp;quot; only exists at the point that is the center of that circle. Each click will move all circles in contact with the one who's center was closest to the click by a factor of 2n where n is the % of surface area in overlap between the circles. Bear in mind this is not the same as radius. In order to have 50% of the circles overaping the circumferance of each will more than overlap the center of the other. if at any point two circles overlap perfectly (100%) then the batch will crystalise. Different alloys have a different number of crystals. Your % of crystalization is the % of the total crystals overlaping 100% at crystalization. so simply stated the goal is to get all of the circles to overlap one centeral circe by a factor of 50% of their surface area and then to click a point closest to the center of said circle. - Larynth&lt;br /&gt;

Now that we have clearly defined circles, we can rule out the 'no overlaps' rule as false. It's not a valid rule, you can test it for yourselves. If you get nicely clustered circles, it is possible to click on a non-overlapping part of a  circle and have it crystalise. The odd/even rule holds up longer, but hits the same barrier. 1 is an odd number, therefore should work. Couple of problems with 3 overlaps too, so I guess it's back to ideas. Put them up here and we can disprove/prove them as they come.&lt;br /&gt;

I'd say that's pretty darn good! Congratulations MrIgnem on the best theory so far on reactories. I think this is good enough to use as a basis for futher theories. One slight alteration is it seems 2 circles can overlap perfectly, seen that, but no more. Would assume that clicking on this perfect overlap would result in crystalisation though.&lt;br /&gt;

I was leaning to the concept of getting n (where n either &amp;gt;1 or &amp;gt;2) circles perfectly aligned on a single move causes crystallization.  However the idea of an &amp;quot;active circle&amp;quot; is intriguing.  I had a good runs followed by some very bad run last night, based on the n=2 theory and the even/odd theory.  I had times where I could click 3 and crystallization would occur, and times when it would not.  I'll try again using the &amp;quot;active circle&amp;quot; theory and the n&amp;gt;1 theory.  If that does not work I'll try it with N&amp;gt;2.  Either way, you may have hit on something!  --  Ouij&lt;br /&gt;

Here is some additional information for those that like to attempt to apply the math to the process.  Expanding on MrIgnem's idea.  The circle who's center is the closest to your mouse pointer is considered the active/stationary circle.   It will not move, and it doesn't matter where in the circle you click, as long as the center of that circle is the closest to your mouse pointer.  Now, all circles that overlap that circle will move towards aligning to that circle when you click.  The distance they will move is exactly the amount the circle overlaps the active circle by. So, if you click on a circle that has even one other circle that overlaps it by the radius of the circle or more, the batch will crystalize.&lt;br /&gt;
The easiest way to confirm this is find a circle in your batch that is overlaped by one other circle, then click on it and watch the second circle move towards aligning with the circle you mark as the active one. Each click will move the second circle twice as far as the previous circle. -- Coyan&lt;br /&gt;

While continuing to look at this, I found something additional to examine. The distance the moving circle(s) move is based on the edge of the moving circle(s) that is closest to the center of the active circle. As an example: if 2 circles overlap by half the radius of the circle, then the circle will move so the edge crosses the center of the active circle, an additional click on that circle will crystalize the batch. However, there has to be a variance in the distance moved because there are occasions where you can click twice on those same 2 circles and they won't crystalize, but they will very nearly align.&lt;br /&gt;

Time has absolutely *nothing* to do with the circles as far as I can see, and I've spent over 2k CC reheating one batch. However, before I divulge it all, I want to check with a dev that things are working as intended, as I have slight suspicions over a few things. But be warned, making alloys this tale is *not* an easy easy job. They take a lot of CC, resin and time to practice. And I mean a lot. There are so many factors that affect successful creation it's getting towards the level of complexity of smithing. You can get all circles together, click in the middle, and it'll still give 50%. Just as a note, I've gotten all circles together, clicked in the middle for the last one and gotten 50% yield. So we're missing something, or the 'middle' spot is amazingly (read very amazingly, I'm using a graphics tablet so my clicking is very accurate) sensitive.&lt;br /&gt;

'ordered', it has some 'patterns' in it and it's symmetric, while on the 25% pictures it's just a random mass of grey. That means that on the 75% the white centers are very close together, but on the 25% ones they're a bit away from each other. So, that's the difference... but it doesn't help in getting high yields regularly anyway :/&lt;br /&gt;

Another way to describe the difference between your 25% and 75% is that you can see straight &amp;quot;lines&amp;quot; shooting from the inside to the outside of the 75% crystal.  You can clearly see these lines on the outside portion of the 75% crystal.  In the 25% screenshots, the crystals are entirely blurry.  It is my guess that your crystals were just a little too scattered before you clicked your final click in the center.  You have demonstrated perfectly what Lokim's last point is in his tutorial above. :)&lt;br /&gt;

Becuase this happens a LOT and even those sometimes where the last one is almost just an alignment because they are very together, it won't give 100%.   I just don't want everyone thinking there might not be a bug factor here.  I have had lines going out very distictly and only got  75% and no outside crystals after testing again after your comments.  Thank you Tok and Daniels, it was very helpful and hopefully will help others. &lt;br /&gt;

After having read all of this and talked to several people as well as experimenting myself the new players should be aware that several things are known and not clearly stated. when you click on a circle consider that it only exists as a graphic and the &amp;quot;aloy crystal&amp;quot; only exists at the point that is the center of that circle. each click will move all circles in contact with the one who's center was closest to the click by a factor of 2n where n is the % of surface area in overlap between the circles. Bear in mind this is not the same as radius. Inorder to have 50% of the circles overaping the circumferance of each will more than overlap the center of the other. if at any point two circles overlap perfectly (100%) ten the batch will crystalise. Different alloys have a different number of crystals. your % of crystalization is the % of the total crystals overlaping 100% at crystalization. so simply stated the goal is to get all of the circles to overlap one centeral circe by a factor of 50% of their surface area and then to click a point closest to the center of said circle. - Larynth&lt;br /&gt;

The odd/even rule holds up longer, but hits the same barrier. 1 is an odd number, therefore should work. Couple of problems with 3 overlaps too, so I guess it's back to ideas. I was leaning to the concept of getting n (where n either &amp;gt;1 or &amp;gt;2) circles perfectly aligned on a single move causes crystallization.  However the idea of an &amp;quot;active circle&amp;quot; is intriguing.  I had a good runs followed by some very bad run last night, based on the n=2 theory and the even/odd theory.  I had times where I could click 3 and crystallization would occur, and times when it would not.  I'll try again using the &amp;quot;active circle&amp;quot; theory and the n&amp;gt;1 theory. Here is some additional information for those that like to attempt to apply the math to the process.  Expanding on MrIgnem's idea.  The circle who's center is the closest to your mouse pointer is considered the active/stationary circle.   It will not move, and it doesn't matter where in the circle you click, as long as the center of that circle is the closest to your mouse pointer.  Now, all circles that overlap that circle will move towards aligning to that circle when you click.  The distance they will move is exactly the amount the circle overlaps the active circle by. So, if you click on a circle that has even one other circle that overlaps it by the radius of the circle or more, the batch will crystalize.&lt;br /&gt;
The easiest way to confirm this is find a circle in your batch that is overlaped by one other circle, then click on it and watch the second circle move towards aligning with the circle you mark as the active one. Each click will move the second circle twice as far as the previous circle. -- Coyan&lt;br /&gt;

The distance the moving circle(s) move is based on the edge of the moving circle(s) that is closest to the center of the active circle. However, before I divulge it all, I want to check with a dev that things are working as intended, as I have slight suspicions over a few things. But be warned, making alloys this tale is *not* an easy easy job. They take a lot of CC, resin and time to practice. And I mean a lot. There are so many factors that affect successful creation it's getting towards the level of complexity of smithing. You can get all circles together, click in the middle, and it'll still give 50%. Just as a note, I've gotten all circles together, clicked in the middle for the last one and gotten 50% yield. So we're missing something, or the 'middle' spot is amazingly (read very amazingly, I'm using a graphics tablet so my clicking is very accurate) sensitive.&lt;br /&gt;

If you click an even amount, it crystalizes. So, those that are saying you must press a single one are correct as that is an odd amount. I do believe that there is something else we are missing, so I will continue to work on alternative methods and see what results occur. However, working on the even/odd theory has improved my production greatly and I suggest others give it a try and see if they can improve the process. 'ordered', it has some 'patterns' in it and it's symmetric, while on the 25% pictures it's just a random mass of grey. That means that on the 75% the white centers are very close together, but on the 25% ones they're a bit away from each other. So, that's the difference... but it doesn't help in getting high yields regularly anyway :/&lt;br /&gt;

Another way to describe the difference between your 25% and 75% is that you can see straight &amp;quot;lines&amp;quot; shooting from the inside to the outside of the 75% crystal.  You can clearly see these lines on the outside portion of the 75% crystal.  In the 25% screenshots, the crystals are entirely blurry.  It is my guess that your crystals were just a little too scattered before you clicked your final click in the center.  You have demonstrated perfectly what Lokim's last point is in his tutorial above. :)&lt;br /&gt;

Becuase this happens a LOT and even those sometimes where the last one is almost just an alignment because they are very together, it won't give 100%. I have had lines going out very distictly and only got  75% and no outside crystals after testing again after your comments.
