<p>Gem Cutting Guide: Lens Cut</p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>This is one of the easiest cuts.<br /> <br /> Load a gem, and open the catalog. &lt;br&gt;<br /> Pin up the Lens Cut as a guide.<br /> <br /> Start by using Sanding Disk #1 to shave off one layer at a time. &lt;br&gt;<br /> Look for a flat, unmarred surface large enough for the lens.<br /> <br /> Rotate twice on the Z axis, and use Sanding Disk #1 to shave off layers until only 1 layer thick.&lt;br&gt;<br /> (Note: if you find a better flat surface, rotate back to the original side and continue.)<br /> <br /> Now rotate on the X axis, and use Sanding Disk #2. &lt;br&gt;<br /> Keep turning and cutting until your gem matches the guide.<br /> <br /> (Images coming, please add yours if you have some.)</div>
