:*A fixed number of towers will be built all at the same time.  Doing this allows more towers to be built, as a group can accomplish more than an individual.  The number of towers is decided by the Elders/Patriarchs, and is based on the amount of materials needed; The faster the towers can be built, the better.  For example, the first group will build the pump, and 20 towers.

:*Individuals may opt to build in a position based on their contribution points.  e.g., the more contributions an individual makes, the more points they will earn, the earlier they may build in the build order.  If an individual passes on their right to build a tower before other members (assuming they have earned more points than the other members), they may build a tower at any point in the tower order beyond their forgone position.

:*Once all pump/towers/upgrades have been built, the Patriarchs of the SA Waterworks will actively recruit suitable Patriarchs to take their position as Patriarchs from outside the Guild.  Once this is done, the new Patriarchs will actively recruit new Members to form a new 20 (or less) individual group for the next set of towers/upgrades.  Members who could not build during the previous group will have their points carried over to the new group.

:*At this point, previous Patriarchs and Members are considered retired.  Retired Members may quit the guild, or if they wish to remain in the guild for the social atmosphere, continued donations to new members, etc., they may be moved to Kinsman status.  Retired Patriarchs may keep their position if they intend to keep working, or be demoted to Kinsman.  Elders will remain in their role so that SA Waterworks to manage memberships, and will advise new members when possible.

As a summary of our system, only those who contribute enough points for the top 20 positions will build towersThe other members who could not build towers will save their points for the next group of 10-20 players.  The current leadership of SA Waterworks will also have to pass off the leadership to others if they did not build a tower themselves, so those who do not make the first 20 cut, will also be considered to lead the next group.

Unlike the previous group, Group B will be a '''set''' group of 20 players (plus 1 for a Group A member who has gone MIA).  Other members may contribute for points.  If a member that is not in Group B contributes, their points will count towards their future group (if they have not built a tower yet).  Points for Group B members will determine their build order.  Elders reserve the right to take players out of the group for replacement.

At build time, members have 72 hours to get in touch with an Elder or Patriarch to build, or their spot may be forfeited.  Forfeited spots may be built later if there is a spot left (there normally would be a spot left for Group B members).  This is to avoid holding up the rest of the chain.  Elders/Patriarchs will attempt to give advance notice of build time, but it is the responsibility of each member to watch the wiki, and know when build time is approaching.

New Members/Group C Expectations

SA Waterworks is currently accepting applications for new members. We have a 400 foot pump in SA, and the last tower is at height 140. Membership costs 2000 boards and 4000 bricks (this is needed to expand the guild hall). Must be level 17 to apply (exceptions may be made if you are working hard towards 17).

We are a donation based guild that collects mostly tiles to help new players build an Aqueduct Tower for the Test of Life. See the Donations page for what materials individual members are expected to provide, and which materials the guild will provide from donations. We provide these mats, guidance on the test, and a proper spot to build your tower.

There currently is not a queue to build a tower. If you have your mats, contact Robare or Daniels to get your tower built on the line.

To apply, stash your Membership Fee in the Stash Warehouse (next to the GH in SA, north of the CS: 1560, 1945), and chat Daniels, or Robare.
