what is "Mins Cornerstone Throwaway"

its an event where you can win a portable cornerstone, there are 3 competitions(the winner of each gets one stone) and one lottery(one lucky gets one stone)

all competitions are timezone independend, you can play with, whenever you want(during the competition time)

Background

Min took part at the "Tak Attak" event (14.02.2010). During the distribution of the prices something goes wrong. Now he is owner of 7 portable cornerstones, instead of 7 players are owner of one.

on the Events channel:

(ok, and now for all: Min is the god of male fertile, so please: he is he not she, but thats not topic now, lets resume :) Seven portable cornerstones are too much for one person, so he decided to give 4 of them away. Selling them would be the easiest thing to get rid of them, but he doesnt like tradings, and doesnt need anything atm, its more fun to give them away as prices during an event, thats why you may read this lines... he decided to do three competitions, the first one of each competition gets one portable cornerstone, and one cornerstone is given away by lottery to someone who participate on one of the tree competitions.

when: from 19.02.2010 to 01.03.2010, within this time you can decide when you participiate, it is full timezone independend

place: overview of the area, its a few mins east from QR cs, follow the road to east, before you cross the 2nd river, follow the street to north

the compound is at 1340, -6042 QR, inside you ll find a kitchen and a chest with flax seeds and some other stuff, if you have forgotten your dried flax for the basket(you need it for "inverse auction" and you maybe need it for "worst cooking chief ever");

1. people in action

the aim is to build a sculpture, the viewer should be part of it, a short description(place a basic sign there) should describe what the viewer shall do...

the area for the sculptures is around the compound, north border is the line of brick rakes (x,-6022), east border is the river(the water can be used), south border is a line of brick rakes(x, -6078), west border is the road(it also can be used:)

to be sure that your sculpture is interpeted right, place a picture here (its not a must, but would be fine:)

a hint: be creative, the area has a lot different things you can use: water, beach, flat grass, a road, small hill, wood, a cp... you are also allowed to build as many sculptures as you need to design your scene, but: one player one scene...

what you need: stuff for your sculpture, stuff for a basic sign

2. worst cooking chief ever

Min likes running offroad, the best thing is doing it with negative dex, looks very cool...

so, the aim of this competition is to serve him the meal with the most negative dex. For example: Player A serves Min a +2 -5 +5 +6 -5 +0 +0 45min meal, player A serves Min a +2 -3 +5 +6 -5 +0 +0 60min meal, player A wins because -5 is more negative than -3; if the worst meals have the same effect on dex, the meal with the lower duration wins, if the worst meals have the same recipe, a RL dice will decide the winner. every player may only do one meal for competition. And notice that the recipe will be posted here(the recipe and the dex and duration)!

There are 2 ways you can participate: 1. if Min is online aks him if he has time, if so, go to the compound(1340, -6042 QR) and cook the meal, he will taste it:) 2. because you may not be online when "Min" is online, you can do a basket with the ingredients for "Min", ill cook them when its time to decide who is the winner... Min has cooking lvl 7, so he can cook your meal for you, if you want...

how to do a basket for Min: 1. build a storage basket(it needs 28 dired flax, click yourself->Projects->Storage...)in front of the compound 2. put in the ingredients for the meal 3. if all is inside, click your basket->Ownership->give this building to named player, and write "Min"...

3. inverse auction

the main principle is: bet as low as possible(the valid range is from 1 to 1000), but if someone else bets the same as you, both will not win; the one who bets the lowest and is alone with his bet will win :) btw only one bet per player is allowed...

how do you bet ? put as many bottles of wine as you like to bet in a storage basked, and give the storage basket to "Min"(if you dont know how to do, read a few lines above); the wine must not be your best one, it is allowed to bet with juice (tend the vineyard once, harvest the grapes, put them into a barrel, fill them into bottles, all without waiting:) hint: add some sand into the storage basket, so that other people cant see what amount you have betted; you can use the same basket for "inverse auction " and (if you need) for "worst cooking chief ever", but if you want to do this, set the new owner to "Min" only when you have added the things for both competitions:)

the winner will be Player B, because Player A and Player C both bet the same amount, and B bets less than D

if you are new and have no access to a vineyard, or a barrel, or barrel taps; i have 4 public vineyards(1402,-6006) set up, and a barrel, you can use, near the barrel is a box(1415,-5976) with vinecuttings and barrel taps, but be sure to bring with empty wine bottles

4. Lottery

How to get one lot? Min writes down the names who plays with...

if you take part at one competition you get one lot, the max. numbers of lots you can get is 3(if you take part on every competition), if you have won one cornerstone already you cant play with;

how will the lottery work ? IRL: Min writes tiny cards with the names on it (if someone has 2 lots, he writes the name twice) and then he will make groups of 6 cards(he will not know which names are on the cards), then he will use a dice to sort one out of the group(its the winner of the group), with the group winners the same procedure is done...what happens if there are not multiple of 6 lots ? dont care about it:)

First rule: Min does no mistake, he is a god, so if something unexpected happens, he will decide who gets the cornerstone :)
