I have been actively pursuing the tattoo thingy.. so i'm out in the boonies looking for different things to do the thingy.  The new shard has started and Egypt is a bit quieter (if that is possible) then it was.  It was a thrill to see Cory0210 read and respond to my message below.. and i miss you Cory and admit it.  This weeks Nascar race is in California, late start 330 so I will hang out in Egypt as is my usual on Sundays.

I'm speechless... for a change...  it is sooo quiet in Egypt when I pop in.. I know that lots of peeps either have gone to the new shard or taken a break from ATITD. I miss my friends, acquaintances, and visitors to Saqqarah. The human is depressed and i try to comfort her when she is sad.  She frequently sees her wonderful YaYa guildmates on fb but it isn't the same as actually chatting and playing in Egypt.  The human let me check out the new shard with a new name for 1/2 hour.  Sort of incognito running around trying to see if there was a feel of the new tale.  We have both come to the conclusion that it wasn't the same feeling.  In a new tale, everyone is starting off together for a common goal and is chatting it up working on things together. Yes, 1/2 hour isn't enough time to check it out probably, BUT, in that 1/2 hour - there was no welcoming island and people to help me, I was placed in a rather inconvienient spot on the map, and it just wasn't the same.  I'll be happy to hear anyone's views on this or what I did wrong. I did not tell anyone I was BooBoo and i was most certainly nothing at all like BooBoo.  You could say it was a third personality for the human.  Sorta like the Sybll syndrome.  Oh well, maybe we will try again in a week or so if that's possible, but for now I will continue on my tattoo test thingy and jump in a few times at night during the week.

I purchased a new computer the other day and it has Windows 7.  I LOVE IT... but !!! I keep getting the boot from Egypt.... and that's a problem... Second problem... I went to a Yokir practice this evening and there were 4 people there.  Thank goodness that Numaris was there giving instructions... A Big ShoutOut to Numaris... Unfortunately besides getting booted every few minutes I also was going out for the evening (not unfortunately on the going out part) so i didn't get to play.  The shard is def going to kill this game.  I remember Sat nights when there were dozens of people playing conflict games.  WTG Teppy.

I have been stopping in and out of Egypt.  A bit nervous about the new shard.  BUT I have come to the realization that the power gamers will probably all go over to the new shard so they can strut their stuff and leave all of us regular gamers in T4.  I think it will be a greater community than it is now and I'm staying put to see what happens OR as Rabble has posted, in 80 days we can all run around claiming deserted compounds.  On a sad/happy note, the humans computer crashed kaput this morning... it took her 2 hours to get up and go to pick out a new one and get it up and running.  It has Windows 7 and she used to have XP so she is learning a lot about it and reading up.  Now if only Cory0210 could tell her what size screen she has.

Yesterday I joined a group that Rabble gathered to do the 20 minute dig.  A HUGE Shoutout to Rabble... he is soooo organized and it was a lot of fun.  I was very excited to receive 2 eggplant seeds.  Tonight I was hanging out at my compound and happy to see a few YaYa's online.  It seems that the new shard thingy may not include many of us YaYa's and we may stay put where we are now.  I can't help wondering, which shard will Sami be playing in?  Oh No!

Okay so I AM a slacker. On the upside, the humans debate team at school won its second debate, much to the big surprise of EVERYONE involved.  There is still a huge celebration going on in the New York City area that will continue for a few weeks until they realize they have to do ANOTHER debate.  On the downside, the human has been pretty sick and continuing onward going to work and has finally seen a doctor who suggested time in the desert would clear up all her illnesses.
