For this event, players are divided into two categories: teachers and students.  The teachers would volunteer, recognizing that they will NOT be acroing only with great and master teachers and masters. Rather they are serving as YOUR great or master teacher.  Theoretically, Teacher 2 would volunteer if Teacher 1 is not a good teacher to them, Teacher 3 would volunteer if the first two aren’t good, and so on until there are multiple teachers lining the field.  This isn’t necessary though.  As a student, if you’ve acroed with all the teachers, you can volunteer yourself to become a teacher.

The teachers would line up on periphery. For example, in the SA acro field, the teachers would be in the 10 southern and 10 northern stations. To queue up for their teachers, students would walk through the middle of the field to find the teachers they know to be their masters or great teachers.  Students should form small queues for each teacher at the station one closer to the middle of the field.  The front of the line would be the plant, and it would extend away from the teacher. New teachers should continue to line up on the North and South peripheries.  If a teacher drops out and the event isn’t full, its ok to leave that station empty.

It doesn’t really matter, however it may be easier to start at station 1 and work your way along the line of teachers.  Alternatively, you can go to where the individual queues are shortest.  Up to you.

A Masters Acro Line is designed so that you learn only from your great or master teachers.

How would this event work?

For this event, players are divided into two categories: teachers and students. The teachers would volunteer, recognizing that they will NOT be acroing only with great and master teachers and masters. Rather they are serving as YOUR great or master teacher. Theoretically, Teacher 2 would volunteer if Teacher 1 is not a good teacher to them, Teacher 3 would volunteer if the first two aren’t good, and so on until there are multiple teachers lining the field. This isn’t necessary though. As a student, if you’ve acroed with all the teachers, you can volunteer yourself to become a teacher.

How long must I be stationed as a teacher, after all I want to learn a few moves too!

There is no real requirement but as a point of etiquette it would be best to stay if there is a queue for you specifically.

How should we be positioned on the acro field?

The teachers would line up on periphery. For example, in the SA acro field, the teachers would be in the 10 southern and 10 northern stations. To queue up for their teachers, students would walk through the middle of the field to find the teachers they know to be their masters or great teachers. Students should form small queues for each teacher at the station one closer to the middle of the field. The front of the line would be the plant, and it would extend away from the teacher. New teachers should continue to line up on the North and South peripheries. If a teacher drops out and the event isn’t full, its ok to leave that station empty.

Which teacher should I go to first? What do I do when Im done acroing with my teacher?'

It doesn’t really matter, however it may be easier to start at station 1 if that teacher is your master/great teacher and work your way along the line of teachers looking for other great/master teachers. Alternatively, you can go to where the individual queues are shortest. Up to you.

What if I don’t know who my master teachers are?

If you are new to acro or have not written down who your master and great teachers are, this event is probably not for you. You should attend a few more acro lines and keep track before coming to this type of event.

Why is this better than a normal acro line?

I will admit that it might not be, given it has not been tested, but I think it has some advantages. First, there are no more pgt/blur or lr/lr matchups. Even if youre a teacher, its still rewarding to be able to teach something than have the pairing be a total bust. Second, waiting times should be reduced. There is no initial queue to have to sit through, only smaller queues for each teacher. And you can decide to skip those/choose the shortest queues to select your teacher of choice. The individual queues should also move quickly because when acroing a master or great teacher, youre likely to learn the move quickly. Third, I would hope that queue management would be easier than in a standard acro line. Acro who you want, get up and move around. Don’t feel confined to standing in line. Finally, its different and variety is the spice of life. It may just be fun.

What are some downsides to this type of event

First, its never been tried before, so it will probably have a few kinks. Second, for it to work, there need to be volunteer teachers. Third, there needs to be a large number of people there so that there are enough masters/gts to make it worthwhile. Feel free to provide constructive criticism to work out some of the major kinks before trying it.
