Who We Are

Children of the Crude is the holding guild for Adn's semi-public Deep Well. The well itself was built largely by the Nigerian Businessmen with a healthy and generous contribution from CCHC. The guildhall is located at 1172, 7112 in Adn (ENE of the CS) with the well itself immediately behind. Currently the guild is open by invitation only.

Use of the Well

Well use is "semi-public". By that we mean that anyone can use the well at no cost to them above the usual well repair costs. However, the well will belong to the guild by default and will only be usable by anyone by appointment only. We also reserve the right to shut down appointments at any time, though conditions under which we might deny appointments would be extreme and would not be targetted at any one person or guild.

To apply for an appointment, please see the calendar below. A guild member will sign off on your request, which means he or she will be present to open the well to you. If you do not see a member sign off, please feel free to contact any guild member listed below.

We will also be holding the well open for extensive blocks of time. These dates and times will be posted in the calendar. During these times well use is first come first serve.

Facilities

For your convenience there is a public kitchen adjacent to the well with a public chest where people can leave recipe ingredients for fellow pumpers. In the same compound, you will also find a box for leather donation, if you are feeling particularly charitable. Again, no such donation is required to run the well.

Calendar

You may block off a maximum of 4 hours at a time, per 2 days. Obviously you can probably request slots under different names in your group and monopolize entire days of time under this system. We offer this as a public service and ask you be courteous to your fellow citizens. While there is no required advanced notice of an appointment, please be patient if you are requesting an appointment less than 2 days out. If you are having problems, please contact any of the membership below.

During Open Days the well will remain open and no appointments will be considered. Use of the well is first come first serve. Again, we ask consideration.

If you are a member of either Nigerian Businessmen or CCHC you need only ask your guild rep. However, you may want to block out your time on the schedule again as a courtesy.
