#REDIRECT [[Hagars Poem]]
---Hagar's Poem---

In the lands of far away

Where trees are made of gold

There lived a Prince of many riches

Here his life's story will unfold

He built his fortune on misery

On the pain of generations oppressed

The untold suffering of those

Tortured at his bequest

And yet this Prince seemed noble

His towers caressed the sky

Yet none but a widow

Seemed to hear the wailing cry

The windows made of glass that shrieked

The walls attached with blood

The ceilings hung with skeletons

Their dignity trod in the mud

Then one day returned a stranger

From far and distant land

Not a welcome face indeed

But one met with dagger in hand

This stranger shared a blood bond

With magic deeper than any sin

And so this brother witnessed

The horrors that lay within

The brothers fell to fighting

Their sly tricks flew left and right

The only aim of these two warriors

The end of the other's might

And so it came to pass one day

That the stranger obtained the key

And set about with honest intent

To open it for all to see

And yet the stranger succeeded

In his aim of clarity

The tyrant still won over

With a pretense of charity

For although the palace was opened

The floors were all scrubbed clean

The bloodstains all removed

Its history now unseen

The Prince pretended generosity

He offered the palace up free

And commissioned his architects

To draw up plans for all to see

And so the sad story paled and died

The legend told no more

The castle's dirty secret

Hidden beneath the floor

But now the castle is moved

Rebuilt stone by stone

The bloody rooms where screams resounded

Now sing with music's tone

But listen carefully to my words

For in them lies the past

The wicked Pharaoh's cellar

With treasure that time has passed

Seek out this treasure

Search the coffers and lift the lid

For if you find the very place

A Pharaoh's treasure shall be unhid
