:I'm yet to see evidence of the 24 hour thing. At <14 taught, you can learn up to 1 facet per move per teacher (and often less). At 14-980ish, it's up to 2. Above that number (unsure about the exact number. But it's 20*7*7, and 7 is a popular number...) you can learn up to 3 facets per teacher per move. If you get this, you can still teach other moves.--[[User:Tlanthil|tlanthil]] | :I'm yet to see evidence of the 24 hour thing. :This is like any of the teacher quality messages (perfect, great, pretty good, blur, last resort). The better, the faster/better chance of learning. Events/Gathering
I am unfamiliar with what normally happens with this Test as the tale progresses. Should we make a heading that has events/acro parties that occur nightly or that are specifically planned out? I know Queen's Retreat has a nightly acro party after a dig.
- Something like that should go on the Current Events page. --Nipaeri 15:11, 2 January 2009 (EST)
Sample blue text and what to do/say
Thought this would be nice for people(me) that don't know much about acroing. I'll fill it up when ever I do some acroing. Feel free to add or say what each one means or what you should do if you get that text.
- 'This is a good area, but the people in the distance are a distraction(1 in range)'- Means you and your partner have to move farther away from other people before trying to acro.
- 'Your student follows your move, but doesn't pick up anything new' - You cannot teach this person again (either for 24 hrs or you reach the next facet teaching, ie. 14, 986, etc... needs verifying)
- I'm yet to see evidence of the 24 hour thing. At <14 taught, you can learn up to 1 facet per move per teacher (and often less). At 14-980ish, it's up to 2. Above that number (unsure about the exact number. But it's 20*7*7, and 7 is a popular number...) you can learn up to 3 facets per teacher per move. If you get this, you can still teach other moves.--tlanthil
- 'Your student doesn't follow your move' - Try again.
- 'You follow a bit of what (name) is showing you, but it's mostly a blur.' Find a better teacher - You probably won't learn anything from this person. You should let them know they are a "blur" to you.
- This is like any of the teacher quality messages (perfect, great, pretty good, blur, last resort). The better, the faster/better chance of learning. You should ideally let your partner know of what sort of teacher they are in all cases.--tlanthil
- 'Your student doesn't seem to be paying attention'. -
- Hasn't done an acro move in the last 5(?) minutes. Even if you can't teach your partner anything, still make a move every few minutes so they can teach you. --tlanthil
