Architecture Tests Casino's Suggestion
- Test of Building Bridges:
The Test of Building Bridges is not a unique idea, however my thoughts are just a bit different. The Test would entail a building group of 5 to 7 allowing for multiple passes throughout the test. It's root action is to locate a spot in a region, a spot that crosses a waterway/river/penninsula and would allow for safe and easy passage for all citizens, saving countless unecessary trips out of the way to reach a key destination.
Here's the Deal: The building group using the same *widget* that's used in the building of an Aqueduct, they would locate a spot to span their *Bridge* once it has been surveyed, it would be constructed using various types of spun wires, treated boards and metal, rope, nails, canvas, raeli tiles, pipes, cables and paint(the amount of each material type will be determined by the span length and height of the Bridge)
Ok, heres the good part, crossing the Bridge will be similar to using a short/long range ferry ride :) it will ask for a tithe/toll which in turn glorifies the bridge constantly improving its grandjuer and beauty, so in other words, if the placement of said *Bridge* is put in a spot that would be heavy traveled(if the team has done their homework) it would become a sight to see, due to the fact it changes it's appearance as the tithes/tolls are added to it, thus, it is that glory and passage (trips/crossings) that could be used in the score calculation of passing the test.
Now considering the use of alts, and we don't want to discourage the use of them, but installing a one time point or scoring *hash* will make gaming the test more difficult, and once the *Bridge has passed with it's group, it would imediately advance to *Full Glory* and eliminate any further need of a tithe or toll :)
So, in a nutshell, the bridge that is getting used the most, with it's placement well planned, will ultimately score and pass their team of builders, in the new: "Test of Building Bridges!" :)
One footnote: So much Lag is created around Permanent Bridge crossings in the game, especially near chariot stops, this test and it's function will i believe allow for more access to areas that would not normally be inhabited, thus reducing the *clusters* of building around regional Propers :)

Worship Test-Casino's Suggestion
Test of The Bountiful Harvest
We all know that Tests involving the Worship Discipline requires some form of interaction with the "Deity's" ie "Gods" of Egypt, thus requiring any aspirant to fully dedicate themselves to the satifaction and pleasure that "They" so demand. The Test of the Bountiful Harvest completely dedicates the aspirants to both the Ritual and Sacrificial demands required to "Please" these Diety's. The Test will require the aspirants to assemble at a "common altar" there each group member will meditate and offer the Gods a small sapphire and a small ruby to gain the attention of the Gods (this will facilitate the altar recognizing how many aspirants are attempting the Test) Once completed the "Altar" will assign 1 group member as the lead aspirant and the remaining group members will be designated "priests" upon receiving these assignments each aspirant will be sent a "Vision" this vision will include the instructions, harvests required and location of where the aspirant must go to to complete their harvesting task. (all growing of harvests will be done at a common altar, these altars will vary in the type of harvests that can be grown, for instance,an altar at sinai that is on sand, would allow garlic/onions to be harvested, whereas an altar in adn on grass would allow for carrots/cabbage) Now, the "Vision" will not specify how many harvests the aspirant will need to grow, heres where the "scoring comes into play, Once the Altar has given the aspirants their visions, the group will have 1 24 hour day to grow within, they will each be allowed 1 real hour to grow at their designated altar, where at that time all harvests will "cease" to be counted, they must all return to their original altar and meditate to receive their next designated vision and instructions. Now, you might be thinking, "I am not going to grow harvests for 24 hours straight"! well you won't, because any group doing this test can pause it at any time, this is accomplished by not activating the altar upon their return, thus extending the 24 hours until their next meditation.(If there are no further "meditations within that 24 hour period the vision will expire for the group, but their "harvests will remain as their total for the task) In a nutshell, the "group" decides how long, how far and how many harvests they do within that 24 hour day, but the amount of their "Bountiful Harvests" will be the "Basis" of their "Cumulative Totals" for the Sunday Passes, in other words, the amount of effort and dedication the group decides to put forth will be their "total" that will be compared to any other groups totals on Sundays (similar to that of a Pilgrimage or Test of Life scoring.) The group may decide to take a break, do something else and return to the altar and re-activate their test at anytime during that 24 hour "window".
What do ya think?
There are definetly a few areas here that could be "tweeked" with caviats to the test, but I do feel this could be an exciting, competitive and fun addition to the Discipline of Worship.
Key Points to the Test
Group Size 4 to 7 group members, this will allow "built-in" flexibilty for timezone or any population issues at the time of the Test's release.
Harvests The Vision can request any and all types of harvests available to Egypt at the time of the Test's release for instance, vegetables/barley/wheat etc. to satisfy the "Gods" appetites.
The amount of "Harvests" will be determined by the aspirants ability to cultivate and accumulate as many harvests as possible within that 1 hour harvest period. (One issue i see arising is the availability of water, maybe the strategy used in the Test of Seven Phoenix could be utilized whereas you place wh's at cs locations to expidite water supplies using a wp or the use of "carry food" to facilitate "bulk" carry.
Travel
The "Timer" will not begin until the "first" harvest has begun at each of the designated altars, so the completion time for each aspirant will vary based on time needed to reach their designated altar and then begin their "harvesting"
Scoring
As discussed above, the "Scoring" for this Test will be similar to that of lets say a Pilgrimage, whereas the totals for each aspirant will be "Cumulative" and will be all joined into one "Total" for the group for comparison to any other groups efforts for Sundays Passes.
In Closing
The Test of the Bountiful Harvest will create a group dynamic set into motion by the desire to compete while "pleasing' the "Deitys" that we as Worship Disciples dedicate ourselves to in the Magic Land of Egypt! -Casino
