Welcome to the Egyptian Mac Users Group!

Open acceptance will be temporarily suspended. Consider donating boards or bricks to help out!

This guild is open to all and contributions of boards and bricks are gratefully accepted to help with expansion.

We strive to help all Macintosh computer users get the most out of A Tale in the Desert by sharing our knowledge with others. We help each other learn of software releases, and hope to develop scripts that we can use on Macs while playing ATITD. Troubleshooting questions and sharing little tricks and tips are always welcome.

We will also post our guild channel of known mac threats and malwares.

We will also post useful links.

Colour Picking Tool

You can run "Pixie" (a developer toolkit application, part of Xcode) that magnifies a portion of the screen and provides information about where the cursor is pointing. If you enable the Pixie preferences "Float window" and "Show colour values", then you can easily wave the mouse over the crystals to quickly see which crystal is correct. Note that "most blue" would be the highest "B" value in the R/G/B section, whereas "most saturated" would be the highest "S" value in the H/S/B section of the information.
