The Test of the Obelisk requires that you build the largest obelisk of its kind in your Region. You must exceed the largest obelisk ever built by at least a single cubit and then retain the title of largest obelisk for at least 3 Egyptian days. By meditating on obelisks (Tests-menu), you can sense what the various kinds of obelisks are and the heights of the obelisks that came before.
Principle-sized Desert Obelisk
A size 7 Desert Obelisk (for principle) is made from:
Your obelisk will be built in a Small Construction Site.
NOTE: You can disassemble your obelisk after building it and passing the principle, with NO loss of materials (apart from the small construction site).
Obelisk Types
- Desert Obelisk
- Made from Boards, Bricks, Clay, Dried Flax, Flint, Slate and Linen
- Requires Obelisk Construction (1)
- Cut Stone Obelisk
- Made from Cut Stone, Clay, Crushed Eggshells, Candle and Medium Quartz
- Requires Obelisk Construction 2
- Hardwood Obelisk
- Made from Treated Boards, Nails, Gold Wire, Beeswax, Copper Straps and Candle
- Requires Obelisk Construction (3)
- Marble Obelisk
- Made from Gold Wire, Rabbit Pelt, Dried Flax, Cobra Skin and various types of Marble.

Build Queues
Many regions have a build queue which they maintain. Some consider it polite to check whether such a queue exists before building another obelisk in that region, and consider violating the queue a form of griefing. Others contend that queues game (cheat) the system.
