Formerly known as Qatara.
The smallest region in Egypt, CCR hosts a small but thriving community of helpful folks. The residents of CCR are largely focused on fulfillment of personal goals, among them living quietly productive lives in this Telling. New residents or visitors to Cat's Claw Ridge will enjoy the quiet serenity of the region. |

Guilds
The Scratching Post - Local regional guild, open to permanent residents. Elders are Forgiving and Jaxum.
CCR Mentorship Program - Mentorship guild for new residents of Egypt. Elders are LadyGrim and Inad.
The Mad Botanists - Crossbreeding research guild.
Industry
Despite the small population, CCR hosts a good amount of industry. Pollution is kept to a minimum in the more fertile areas of the region through the expedient of locating high-pollution buildings in the desert regions outside of the central areas. The regional guild, The Scratching Post has established an industrial center south of the University of Architecture, near many of the mining areas.
A solid wine-making industry is maintained by Forgiving, Jaxum, Amora, ladygrim, and Hely. Khet is the local blacksmith and gemcutter.
