The material list was compiled using the list on HHOFW's guild site. We all thank kuupid especially for her very long dedication to vigils and also to her enormous success at hosting them. Kuupid and her family will be very much in our thoughts during the Vigil and we all wish her a speedy recovery.  Credit is given to Shivani who compiled the original list for T3.

WELCOME TO THE OASIS VIGIL!!!

Date scheduled for this Vigil is March 13,14 and 15. This is all dependant at present on whether or not we have the materials expected to be asked for as sacrifices gathered up. It is fully expected that we will, so plan to be there!! We welcome all guildees and friends of guildees. As this is the first Vigil for many of us, we will not attempt to be public. All items on the list below will be available for sacrifices. If you are present, you will be added to a queue and sacrifice in that order. Therefore if you must afk for awhile, please notify the attending Elder. Everyone present WILL sacrifice. Hookah, wine, beer and acro are also necessary for your enjoyment :) We look forward to this social and fun test with all of you!!

  • NOTE: You only need to 'Make a Sacrifice' to pass the principle. All items in the checklist are considered done once you sacrifice.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • 'A Vigil is, in essence, a large scavenger hunt. Clicking on the sacrificial bonfire gives you a list of items you must scavenge and the time limit for each item. The Vigil will continue until the participants fail to turn in an item in time.' (copied from Test page). If an item is not available for sacrifice, the fire goes out thus ending the Vigil. Every Sunday, the 7 players with the highest points pass the test. Everyone who does not pass keeps their score and can continue accumulating points at other future vigils.
  • A sacrifice will be listed as (in order):
  • Longer Than 1 Hour
  • Within 1 Hour
  • Within 20 Minutes
  • Within 5 Minutes
  • Within 1 MINUTE

The first sacrifice of the vigil must be made within 15 minutes. If you fail to make a sacrifice after its 1 MINUTE warning, the bonfire will disappear and the Vigil WILL END. To calculate your score, take the total number of sacrifices made, subtract the number of sacrifices you made yourself (both numbers are shown to you every time you make a sacrifice), then multiply the result by the number of sacrifices made yourself. So, if there are 200 sacrifices made in total, and you did 50 of them, your score is (200 - 50) * 50 which is 7500. Or, in other words, your score is the number of sacrifices you made multiplied by the number of sacrifices everybody else made.

CREDITS

The material list was compiled using the list on HHOFW's guild site. We all thank kuupid especially for her very long dedication to vigils and also to her enormous success at hosting them. Kuupid and her family will be very much in our thoughts during the Vigil and we all wish her a speedy recovery. Special thanks is given to Shivani who compiled the original list for T3.
