A shovel is made from 10 metal on an Anvil.
It is used in group digs to dig for stones, and can also be used to gather dirt from the ground. Both uses require dirt terrain. The yield from a blacksmithed shovel depends on its quality.
Blacksmithed shovels (aka: quality shovels) do not have a model and therefor appear as a bag. Slate shovels however do have a model.
