In our enlightened land, a male Egyptian may undertake the Test of Marriage with another male Egyptian, and a female Egyptian may undertake the Test of Marriage with another female Egyptian.  Yet only an introduction between a male and female Egyptian satisfies the Principles of Marriage.

We believe that the Principles of Marriage, because of this, do not truly reflect the principles of the current institution of marriage.

Our leaders, we request that the Principles of marriage be revised so that an introduction between single Egyptians counts towards the Principles of Marriage regardless of the gender of the Egyptians being introduced.
