The fourth telling of A Tale in the Desert allows for the customisation of four types of male and female avatars. From December 2009, approximately one real life year after the start of the telling, it was possible to customise each avatar to allow for greater flexibility.

So, what do I do?
To change your avatar you need to take the following steps.
Click on yourself or press Esc. select Appearance from the menu and then Editor.
The following menu will appear (if you have a male avatar).
To change the colours of your kilt, tunic, hat, shoes, trousers (pants), select Cloth Color tab on the menu.
You should come up with the following menu...
