Immediately after dinner, we’ll head just a bit further down the block for a fabulous Egyptian experience that was the highlight of the gathering in 2006. Raise your fumeology knowledge with a sampling of hookah flavors and try Egyptian tea, coffee and juices. Minors (under 18) may not smoke, but may enjoy non-alcoholic beverages with the group. Bring-your-own-bottle allowed, with a $3 corkage fee per bottle. We understand this corkage fee may be waived for our group and will try to have this confirmed. | Immediately after dinner, we’ll head just a bit further down the block for a fabulous Egyptian experience that was the highlight of the gathering in 2006. Sunday, March 1st
Morning, very informal
Snacks and pastry will be available in the Hospitality Suite or people may decide to head for one of the many great brunch spots at the hotel or within walking distance.
Hotel check-out is at noon, but you may store your luggage at the front desk and take the hotel shuttle to Phipps. Yes, there will be a return shuttle.
11:00am to 1:00pm
Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Garden
Less than a mile from the hotel, walk into a different world and experience lush warmth and scents as you tour the halls of this glass domed treasure. Journey through a tropical jungle with a cascading waterfall to a formal Victorian garden, an arid desert landscape and enjoy the spectacular Orchid Show. For those with an interest in the greener side of Egypt, we will discuss some of the exciting developments planned for this telling. The Conservatory has a lovely café for a glass of wine and a light meal or a hot beverage and pastry.
2:00pm to 5:00pm
Open House, eGenesis
Die-hard attendees get another shot at touring the home of the game. Those who are left at the end of the day can decide where to go for dinner.
Evening
The fun will undoubtedly continue into the wee hours for those staying on until Monday.
