Hi Egypt,
I'm a Spanish girl from Las Palmas in Canary Island (Spain). I'm learning translation / interpretation so I can speak french (I hope fluently) and english (less fluently than french ... lot of work to do here).
I played egypt since T3 (more or less 1y and half just before end if I remember well) and now in this 4th tale. Since the beginning I get completely occupy by this game (and yes I play sometime way too much lol).
I like to make stuff (a lot :P), run all over egypt to gather herbs and I love helping others. Helping them acheive their goals, have fun together. This is my way to play .
First of all, DP as others is a test, but you will give the Ban power to the person you vote for. So keep this fact in mind when you are voting and dont forget the perspective, do you vote for you own will, the person I'm voting for is trustworthy ... etc ...

Soy Española (no sé porque aquí me salen los acentos hasta el ñ y en el juego no ... los misterios de Teppy) en fín, Soy de Las Palmas (Gran Canaria). Estudio traducción / interpretación y hablo francés (bastante fluido espero) e inglés (menos fuildo que el francés ... me queda trabajo por hacer).
He jugado en egipto desde el T3 (mas o menos 1 año y medio antes del final si no recuerdo mal) y ahora el T4. Desde el principio este juego me ha absorbido por completo (y si a veces paso demasiado tiempo jugando lol).
Me encanta hacer materiales (mucho :P), correr alrededor de egipto y recoger hierbas y también ayudar a los demas. Me gusta ayudar los demás a alcanzar sus metas, y sobre todo que nos lo pasemos bien juntos. Esto es mi manera de jugar.
Lo primero, DP como los demas es un test, pero le daran el poder de Exilar a quien vais a votar. Entonces, tened esto presente cuando votais y no perdais la perspectiva: Votais por voluntad propia, la persona que estais votando es de confianza ?

Coucou Egypte,
Je suis espagnole, de Las Palmas (Grande Canarie). J'étudie traduction / interprétation et je parle français (fluide j'espère) et anglais (moins fluide .. il me reste du travail).
J'ai joué en Egypte depuis T3 (plus ou moins un an et demi avant la fin si ma mémoire est bonne) et maintenant au T4. Depuis le début ce jeu m'a complétement absorbé (et oui parfois je passe trop de temps a jouer lol).
J'adore faire du matos (beaucoup :P), courrir dans toute l'Egypte et récolter des herbes et aussi aider les autres. J'aime aider les autres a atteindre leurs objectifs et surtout que l'on s'amuse tous ensemble. C'est ma manière de jouer.
Tout d'abord, DP comme les autres est un test, mais vous donnez le pouvoir d'exiler à celui que vous voterez. Bien maintenant, gardez ce fait en tête lorsque vous votez et ne perdez pas la perspective: je suis en train de voter de mon propre chef, la personne que je vote et de confiance ?

What do you believe the role of DP is? What should it be? Why would you make a good DP?

6 bans in Egypt full story (first one doesnt really count because it was a "try").
In my opinion and because of the few Ban used, DP have always been elected wisely.

To the question What do you believe the role of DP is? / What should it be?

A DP for me is a mediator.
DP have to exhaust all posibilities to try to resolve a crisis by use of patience, listening (the both parts involved), a bit of diplomacy, reason, understanding and more important ... fairness.
A DP have to be able to see each parts point of view to guide them to a compromise if it's possible.
A DP has to be also a community leadership capable to get together Egytian people, dynamic, a model for the community on how he/she act and interact with the people around.

And about Why would you make a good DP?

Since the round started people around demonstrate me their support and a lot consider I'm trustworthy and I'm very touched (thanks). However, my acts speaks for me, I do not feel the need to put myself forward, proclaim my accomplishments everywhere or even to say how much people I helped. For me, it's always a pleasure to give a hand. Maybe I give the impression to be absent of E! or on channels, however, I'm listenening the voice of egypt and I'm informed about Egypt life. Should I add I feel ready to assume that charge ? Yes I do

En mi opinión y por las pocas veces que se ha usado este poder, los DP siempre han sido elegidos sabiamente.

A la pregunta Según ustedes cual es el papel de los DP? / Como debería ser un DP?'

Un DP, para mi, es un mediador.
Un DP tiene que agotar todas las posibilidades para intentar resolver una crisis empleando la paciencia, escuchando (ambas partes implicadas), un poco de diplomacia, la razón, la comprensión y más importante ... imparcialidad.
Un DP tiene que ser capaz de ver el punto de vista de ambas partes con el fin de poder guiarlas hacía un compromiso si es posible.
Un DP tiene que ser también un dirigente de la comunidad capaz de unir a la gente de Egipto, dinámico, un modelo para la comunidad en como él/ella interactua con los demás.

A la pregunta Porqué serías un buen DP ?

Desde que empezó el turno de votos la gente a mí alrededor me ha demostrado su apoyo y muchos me consideran como una persona de confianza lo que me ha emocionado mucho (Gracias). Sin embargo, mis actos hablan para mi, no siento la necesidad de lucirme , de proclamar mis logros por todas partes o incluso decir a cuanta gente he podido ayudar. Para mi, es siempre un placer echar una mano. Quizas puedo dar la impresion de ausencia en E! o en otros canales, a pesar de esto, estoy siempre escuchando la voz de Egipto y estoy informado de la vida en Egipto. Debería añadir que me siento lista para ocupar este cargo ? Por supuesto

1. Stealing

1. Can an Elder in a Guild "steal" from that guild? (e.g. 1 brick or 100000000 raeli tiles)
   1. If an Elder in Guild A takes something from Guild A and gives it to Guild B or Person B, is that "stealing"? Obviously this is not stealing. Elders are the owners of the guid.
   2. If an Elder in Guild A takes something for personal use, is that "stealing"? No, because elders usually contributes more than others members to fillup the stocks.
2. If a member in Guild A takes something for personal use or to give to Guild B, is that "stealing"? No, and if this happends it's because the rank of this person / storage facility wasn't appropriate.
3. Can a spouse "steal" from a spouse? lol ... no. If you consider this happends to you, well you put your trust in the wrong person, get divorced
4. If an Elder is booted from a Guild, are the other Elders "stealing" the Guild and its resources? this is a no
5. If a Guild has multiple Elders and one Elder boots all the other Elders from the Guild, is the remaining Elder "stealing" the Guild and its resources? I say yes, probably.
   

2. Resource Location Conflicts. (note: There are no property laws in Egypt)

1. If someone builds a CP or Mine next to someone else's is this "griefing" Maybe, but asking before you built up a CP or a mine doesn't hurt ...
2. If someone (A) is "griefed" by person (B) and they "retaliate" against person B by building beehives or brickracks (flax beds are no longer a problem) etc is that also "griefing"? yes, I personally hate my own beehives sound and also see the flimsy racks all around
   

3. Does "gaming" exist?

Definitely yes, but there is no rules to avoid it so ... !!! But you have to consider what is gamming basically. Do you consider ask a friend to come and vote your stuff as gaming ... yes it is. Names on stuff to vote should be as cartouche totally hidden
Do you consider a fraud vote as gaming ... yes because it can be used to stop possible winners to get the test. Moreover, there is no laws to stop "gamming" so lot of people uses the system to get passed, this is totally unfair if the puzzle is good. vote laws to change that or dont say you are against while you are doing anything

1. Does having a spouse or mules or access to friends accounts and playing those accounts constitute "gaming"? spouse and mules should be considered in a different way. playing as spouse, this is not gaming but with "mules" yes it is
2. Does having your spouse or mules or friends and guildmates vote or play your test item (e.g. art or thought puzzles, with or without knowing the answers) constitute "gaming"? no on spouse and yes for the other cases
3. Does having your spouse or mules or friends or guildmates play in tournaments or special events constitute "gaming"? no and yes

4. Does "cheating" exist?

yes it does. But as for "gaming" there is no rules ...

1. If someone passes a test (e.g. thought test) and then tears down and rebuilds that item (same spot, same answer) - presumably to gain another pass - is that "cheating"? Probably, but what is the point to get another pass ? winners should not be able to open new stuff for judging
2. If someone passes a test (e.g. thought test) and then re-configures that item so that it will no longer count as "recently passed" and makes no advertisement of it - presumably so players looking for recently passed puzzles will come and play their new puzzle and then gain another pass - is that "cheating"? I would say the same as before and I would like to add that to avoid this Teppy should consider to add a 'winner' mark that would be removed if the configuration is changed
3. If someone solves a puzzle or has access to an external puzzle solver and then gives the answers to their spouse or mules or friends or guildies, is that "cheating"? I dont see it as cheating, this can be also because you are trying to teach somebody and help him to acquired knowledge to solve further puzzles. Nobody ever teach you something in this game ? this was cheating ? no
4. If someone solves a puzzle (e.g. venery) and then posts the answers in open or private chat is that cheating? yes, if the venery is not yours. And if your puzzle hasnt passed yet the answers should not be post on wiki
   

5. Macros

1. Are using macros cheating? no, while the people who use them are in front of the computer ... use macro under your responsability and dont leave it unattended
   1. Are using wiki posted macros cheating? no, I consider this more sharing knowledge than 'cheating'
   2. Are having private macros (shared only with selected people) cheating? it probably happends a lot but no, this is can not be considered as cheating
   3. What about people that cannot use macros. Are they being cheated? (wrong OS, not enough PC power, not knowledgeable enough to use or write one of their own) no, I'm personally under macOS and except eldrad mining macro I can not use other because there is no sources. I feel sad but not cheated
2. Is using a macro in a special event (e.g. gather grass) cheating? no, but people who did that and didnt win a price should have to try manually lol
   

6. Cultural and Religous and Historical Conflicts

keep in mind that your personal respect and education for the others, different cultures and history show who you truely are
For all this cases, yes I would ban. This is a society game, and if you are not able to respect the others, their culture and history you dont have your place in there

      1. Are stalking, "dissing", rumor-mongoring "offensive" behavior.
   3. What constitutes "offensive" actions.
      1. Are buildings, sculptures, designs etc offensive if they offend 1 or more players?
      2. Are buildings, sculptures, designs etc offensive if they offend any class of players? (e.g. hispanics, asians, americans, europeans etc).
      3. Are buildings, sculptures, designs etc offensive if they offend any religous group of players? (e.g. muslims, jews, christians, buddhists, hindus etc.)
      4. Are buildings, sculptures, designs etc offensive if they offend any nationalities? (e.g. <you put in a name here>)
2. Are cultural or historic insensitivites bannable? (e.g. if someone says <X did not happen> or <all Y are dirty> or <all people who wear Z are evil/traitors/should be executed> etc)

7. Majority/Minority

1. In some countries majorities rule and in others minorities are given special consideration so that they are not constantly overruled by the majority.
   1. Is there a majority of 1 (one)? Can 1 person overrule the majority? Yes, Teppy
   2. Is there a majority of a minority? Can any group (any size) over rule the majority?
