Nkuku or Malard will lead the pilgrimage, which means that they will initiate the test and you can then join through clicking on the leader and selecting the appropriate option from the menu.

This Guild

Welcome to this guild page. This guild is an initiative of Meroe Development Guild (MDG) and is dedicated to organizing the Path of the Pilgrim for MDG members.

Guild membership

Membership of this guild is open to those invited to join our pilgrimage. Please contact Malard or Orrin if you want to be invited. All members are Elders. The guild can hold 7 members.

Current members of the Pilgrimage guild are:

  • cas
  • Malard
  • Orrin

Guild location

Our guild hall is located near the CS in Meroe, next to the pilgrim shrine and next to the Meroe Development Guild (MDG) guild hall.

Before we start our pilgrimage, you will have to join this guild, so we'll have a separate chat channel to coordinate our pilgrimage.

Test of the Pilgrim

The test includes visiting as many (if not all) of the pilgrim shrines that exist in Egypt, with 7 people total. The idea is to donate/tithe whatever the pilgrim shrine requests (which is known on forehand).

Please note that you will first have to go to a University of Leadership (ULead) to accept the test.

Previous passes

  • 2009-02-09, 36 shrines, 6380 points
  • 2009-02-16, 55 shrines, 10018 points

From this, we've concluded that not all shrines are listed on the wiki. This means that we'll either have to tithe more at listed shrines, or find ones that are not listed. Either way, it will take at least 9 tithes at the easy ones, and at least 1 to 5 at the harder ones.

Pilgrim shrines and tithes

Please see the Map of Pilgrim Shrines for locations and click on the pins for listed tithes. At the time of writing, there are well over 50 shrines (Sunday Feb 17th).

Since it has been hard to keep up with all the shrines that have been built recently (and the required tithes), please look at the page with the map (above). It also has a table with all the shrines and tithes. Remember, not all shrines are listed.

Our Pilgrimage

We will post the complete route here on forehand, after discussing which tithes we want to do and which prepping has to be done on forehand.

Preparations should include:

  1. deciding on which shrines to visit
  2. deciding on how many tithes we want to do on which shrines
  3. getting a list of requirements and getting all the agreed tithes together (each member for his/her own, but help out others where needed)
  4. lay out an effective route, with reloading stops if needed
  5. bring stuff to the shrines on forehand, maybe stash them in a guilded storage basket not long before starting
  6. decide who is going to lead the Pilgrimage
  7. make procedure and possible complications clear to everyone
  8. set times and dates to do our run(s)
