The Eye of Horus was originally built mainly because I (Kfir) wanted to see how Guilds were built and functioned within the interface and game mechanics. Once I'd built it, it occurred to me that it might actually be useful as a Guild for new players, those undertaking their first telling.
I occasionally find myself overwhelmed by the volume of information there is in the game, and by the pace of the older, experienced players. My hope is that EOH can serve as a place where new players can learn the game, contribute to the regional efforts as much as possible and build a community for future tellings.
