This is a summary of litmus tests I've done on essential compounds with a view toward parsing out the Essence stats.

The litmus results are:

• Maroon -11 to -15
• Red -6 to -10
• Pink -1 to -5
• White 0
• LtBlue 1 to 5
• Blue 6 to 10
• Indigo 11 to 15

Deductions

For the purposes of deductions, Ar(Anaxi) refers to the Aromatic attribute of Anaxi Essence, and in the same vein As(X) Bi(X) Sa(X) So(X) Sp(X) Sp(X) Sw(X) To(X)

Here are the list of things we can prove or guess from the Essential Compounds we've seen:

Sweetness

• Sw(Anaxi) is likely <0 (we see a lot of LtBlue on substitutions)
• Sw(BrambleHedge), Sw(Broadleaf), Sw(Butterleaf) > Sw(Anaxi)
• Sw(BlueBottle) > Sw(BrambleHedge) > Sw(Anaxi), So Sw(Anaxi) <= 1 and Sw(BlueBottle) >= -1
• Sw(Bramble) < 0. Proof: Swapping Bramble for BBC, BL, CB and CR all resulted in Pink. At least one of those must be <= 0, but Bramble was less.
• Sw(Anaxi) = - Sw(Buckler)
• Sw(Common Basil) = Sw(Common Rosemary) = Sw(Broadleaf) = Sw(Bluebottle) = 0
