Granddaughter of Master of Three
T4 resident of Meroe just SE of CS

Started my egyptian life in Karnak during T3, and stayed there throughout tale.

Back again for another telling! I am happy to say that I am living with some old friends, whom I love dearly. Our camp is situated in Meroe, on the twin lakes within the curve of the UART road. [[1]]

I am also an elder in Worship World. [[2]] We will strive to help you with all of your worship needs. We are currently starting to collect mats for vigils. All donations are gratefully accepted! We will also help guide you through Worship Initiations and Pilgrimages. Stop on by, the Worship World guild is located directly East from Meroe CS. If you pass Uart, you have gone too far!

Monkey Poem

Zomboe's Monkey Poem contest Winner - Thank you, Zomboe! The hatchet is wonderful!!! ~Korrin

There was a monkey with fleas,
He danced in circles and was teased.
The Otters made merry,
and the camels were harried,
and the sheep all fell to their knees.

This monkey's name was Ratchet,
and he needed some way to scratch it,
He went to Zomboe,
but he wasn't home,
so much for a trade for a hatchet!

A hatchet would scratch it,
but oh what would match it,
Would somebody take pity on him please?

Itchy and forlorn,
he headed for home,
but whom did he see in his way?
Zomboe stood there,
with a something shiny and fair,
at his feet a hatchet did lay.

"Take this", he did say,
"and forget the pay,
for you have won this day with your poem."

-Eleusis: i'm thinking I will run on the Raeli griefing platform: for people who build raeli's next to other's occupied compounds and refuse to talk...I will threaten to ban them to bring them to the negotiating table with the Compound owners. Worse case, the griefer gets banned and the compound owner can DPAC or destroy the oven.

-Djoser: Afternoon folks and just so were clear...your going to use DP power to threaten people who build raeli ovens near someones camp? that sounds like an abuse of the ban power to me, there os no rulew or law in game that stops anyone from building a raeli oven anywhere, it is perfectly legal and within the rights of the gamer?

-Biker: Yes I would like to be a DP I am very good with mediation. My real life job involves it everyday lol. There are always better ways to deal with things than to ban. Banning is by far a very last resort and it should only be used for serious situations that mediation can not help.
-Korrin: i agree... espcially since i'm of the opinion that a ban is just a slap on the wrist anyways.  if a person wants to come back to grief after a ban, all they need to do is start a new avi
-Korrin: and most offenses that people think.. BAN!... there is usually no way to prove the innocense or guilt, and it is a he said/she said situation
-Biker: exactly and there is no way i would ban someone just on hearsay. You have to put your feelings aside at times and not be biased in any way.
-Biker: There has to be facts that are proven without a shadow of a doubt , and not just a lynch mob.
-Korrin: yup :D  and i also believe in confidentiality.. if they come to you for mediation, you don't go spouting off on e!
-Biker: Oh I have to agree 100 percent there you cant lose the trust of people and that is the quickest way possible to make that happen.
-Korrin: and you also convince those involved to keep it close... otherwise they will start a lynch mob.. no matter the dp involvement
-Korrin: a group of people will always take sides... human nature, right or wrong
-Korrin: this is the last round before final, where egypt decides... how do you feel you would do in an all out egypt round?
-Biker: This is true and by taking on the job of a DP you can expect some people to rebel against you, because there is always 2 sides just as you say and at times you will not be able to please them all.

-Eleusis: Korrin, this may seem overly picky. I copied the convo from here and used MS Word to compare with the convo you had posted. At one point I asked you, "I wonder if you can be impatial when you have so many friends in the game?" Your answer was "Yes." But then in the convo on your web, you added more "Yes. I believe I could. Wrong is wrong." Is this just MS Word screwing up on it's compare?
