One of three types of forges for turning metal into worked products. The Student's Forge uses significantly less charcoal to start and is the preferred forge for smaller projects. Certain larger products like a pinch roller or an extrusion plate can only be made on a master's forge.

Construction costs:
- 24 boards
- 18 firebricks
- 48 bricks
- Built: in a compound, uses 16x17 cells.
Skill/Tech required: Blacksmithing
Using
Requires 60 charcoal to start. It burns 40 immediately, and 1 per minute thereafter.
