ChocoStack Effect

Based on my experience, chocolate is a very powerful tool for dowser. Chocolate will give you the last stats boost you had and save the other stat bonus you will eventually get while the chocolate effect is still on. Basically, you can stack stats with chocolate. Exemple: You eat a chocolate, you're now at +1per, +2foc. Then you eat an herb that give +2per, +4foc, -2end while you're still on the chocolate boost. The next time you eat the chocolate, your stat boost from it will be +3per, +6foc -2end. --Amhur 02:23, 27 December 2008 (EST)

I'll try to explain it in better terms.

  • Chocolate loads up the last stats bonus you had.
  • Grilled food overwrites the chocolate effect. Do not eat grilled food at all if you want to stack stats. Not even between sessions. Never!
  • All the chocolate have the same 'ChocoStack' effect. It does not matter what chocolate you eat.
  • The only difference you will see with different chocolate is their 'base' effect added to the 'ChocoStack' effect. (coconut wafer: +2end, wine cordials: +2focus)
  • The base effect of any chocolate do not count toward the 'ChocoStack' effect.
Example:
  • You eat a coconut wafer chocolate. Say it loads up whatever you had before so let's make it +3end, -4 foc. Add to that the 'base' effect. (+5end, -4foc)
  • You eat an herb that gives +1str right after you eat the chocolate. You're now at +1str, +3end (+5 with base effect), -4foc.
  • Chocolate effect wears off.
  • You eat a wine cordials. It loads up the last bonus you had: +1 str, +3end, -4foc. Add to that the 'base' effect. (+1 str, +3end, -2foc)
  • You eat an herb that gives -2str, +4per. You're now at -1str, +3end, -4foc (-2foc with base effect), +4per.
  • The next time you eat a chocolate, it will load up: -1str, +3end, -4focus, +4per.

Don't eat chocolate while under the effects of an herb, this will cause you to lose all stacked bonuses. Replacing it with the effects of the herb you ate just previous. Ichigo
