Allows for the catching of Fish using a fishing pole. You are given a Basic Fishing Pole whenever you learn the skill.
Source
Taught at The People's School of the Human Body.
Cost
- 25 Twine
- 1 Sharpened Stick
NOTE: You can assemble a Knife:Flint without knowing Carving 1, but you will not be able to carve anything. (It may still be used for slaughtering wild sheep, etc.).
Use
If a fishing pole is in inventory a new action icon (a fish) will appear when near bodies of water. The factors that determine fishing yield are still unresolved, see the discussion page for theories. There is also a map of known fishing locations on the Fish page.
