2 Iron is needed to make 1 Iron Bar in a Studen's Forge or Master's Forge, takes 15 minutes to cool. See Forges for more details.

- 4 needed to build a Hand of Man tower during Test of Towers
- 6 needed to build a Detonation Box
- 20 needed to build a Chemical Bath
- 25 needed to build an Empty Hand Tower
- 50 needed to build a Funerary Temple for the Test of Funerary Temple
- 70 needed to build a Conflict Shrine
- 15 needed for a winch for Mine Automation
- 20 needed for research of Advanced Glassblowing
