Conflicts: The Truth

Test of the Obelisk: After several days into the Bastet Shard, we had brought up the Test of the Obelisk several times to determine how it was going to be handled for Shabbat Ab region. A lot of players wanted a queue system, some wanted a more fair system; lottery, and the other half wanted competition because they did not believe in a queue system, and the rest didn't know what we were talking about.

Shinjaki & myself (Erika) wanted a lottery system. Lottery system is basically where every 2 and a half days a random person from the "ready list" is chosen to build next. This would allow for fair building for older players and newer players that would join the game later.

Dozens of us discussed (or even argued) about how it was going to be handled. The conclusion came to this: because too many players did not want a queue, and they would jump the line if they wanted to because they're paying to play this game... it was decided that it would just be competition. At this point, several people who wanted queue, or lottery had decided in the region channel that competition was the way to go then, and to forget about a queue system.

The day that the Test of the Obelisk came out, we got online, saw that somone had already started a 7 cubit desert obelisk. Later on, someone built a 8 cubit desert obelisk. After that we heard somone started a obelisk queue list on the Wiki, which had 9 players signed up already on it. Then someone built a 9 cubit obelisk, same day.

Since at that point it was obviously competition, Shinjaki built a 20 cubit desert obelisk. 2 hours before she would have passed the test, someone built a 21 cubit desert obelisk. So Shinjaki then built a 50 cubit desert obelisk.

That's all I know that happened.

Our Guild & Macroing Our guild does do a lot of macroing, however we do not afk-macro. GM's do come check on us several times each day to check, we have never failed to respond to them. We are always monitoring our characters when we macro as everyone should. GM's have informed us that they are receiving an abundance of complaints about us "afk-macroing". Apparently a large amount of players are reporting us left and right. Like I said, we arent afk.
