A lot of work goes into keeping Egyptian Life running smoothly. Set some time aside every day for contributions.
Daily Contributions
- Every day our sheep eat onions and our camels eat straw. This tale animals that are not fed will vanish. Put onions directly in the sheep pens and straw in the camel pens. There are drying racks for straw by the camels.
- Grow flax. There are chests in the flax compounds for your donations.
- Silt and wood are needed for firebricks. There are labeled chests in the main compound for wood, silt, and other brickmaking materials.
- Bricks, firebricks, and boards. Almost every Guild project needs a lot of these basic items. Put bricks and boards in the Guild Hall, and firebricks in the chest closest to the pottery wheels.
Specific Projects
- We Need Mines! All kinds of metals and all kinds of gems. See the Mine table for what we currently have.
- A chest for Mine Supplies is needed
- 24 kettles - Planned for in the carp shop compound
- Greenhouses - We need dirt!
- Fleet Furnace (at least one for now...Need the diamonds)
- Pacer makes Thermos quick
- Pigment Lab
- Chemistry Lab
- Glaziers benches
- 4 reg, 2 soda, 2 fine glass - (We need to get sheet glass and skill up for greenhouses)
- We currently have 2 soda, one not designated yet but in place for fine glass in a 4 X 4 grid

- 20 Tubs for JJ's compound
- There is a chest across from the tubs in JJ's compound for canvas donations and dung.

Help for passing principles of the Test of the Obelisk
Recycling is good. There is a box in JulianJaynes's compound at (1272, 1420) with all the mats necessary for a 7 cubit desert obelisk. You still need to provide 1 canvas and 4 rope for the small construction site. After you build a 7 cubit desert obelisk with these mats, you can disassemble the obelisk and return the mats to the box for the next person. You still need to get obelisk construction for yourself, and do all the steps under the tab to get the level.
