Guilds/Worship World/Vigil
Vigil
So you wanna burn all that stuff you've worked so hard to get huh? I'll make it easy for ya, I'll give you a list of do's and don'ts and how-to's all you'll need to do is follow them closely and you will pass your first worship test and get a bonus 10 barley on every full harvest.
There is a lot of conflicting information regarding vigil from several sources. Please do not let this abundance of information intimidate you. Everything you need to know you can find right here.
What to expect:
1.Burn lots of stuff.
2.Have lots of fun.
3.Burn lots more stuff.
4.Meet lots of people.
5.Burn even more stuff.
6.Get your acro on.
7.Burn yet more stuff.
8.Have lots more fun.
What we expect from participants.
1. Have fun.
2. Don't commit to a sacrifice you do not honestly believe you can make in the alloted time.
3. Do NOT sacrifice anything you have not been assigned.
4. If you claim a sacrifice and later find you cannot make it in time please notify the firesitter immediately and help find someone that can make it.
5. Do not hover over the fire when not making sacrifices, stay outside the borders that are set around the fire until it's time to make your sacrifice.
6. Play nice. Do NOT argue with the firesitters if they give a sac to someone else, even if by the rules you should have gotten it.
7. Remember that the firesitter is always the final judge in who gets what.
8. Above all remember to have fun!.
What you should stock up on before hand:

Vigil Policy and Procedure
1. Sacrifices are assigned on a first me first served basis provided that one person is not getting all the sac's.
2. Do not allow people to hover around the fire, if they are in the boundaries we set when a sac is announced thier first claim is invalid.
3. Call schedule for unclaimed sacrifices
- Every 5 minutes in WW chat for first 20 minutes
- After 20 minutes announce in Regional chat once.
- After 40 minutes(total 20 in guild + 20 in regional) in Regional announce in E!
- If after 1 hour sac still not claimed restart with WW chat reposting every 5 minutes for the next 35 minutes, then in regional for 20.
- At the 5 minute remaining mark prepare for emergency sac and announce one last time in WW chat.
- At the 1 minute mark follow Emergency Sac P&P
4. Sacrifice P&P for claimed sac's
- Keep a detailed record of who claimed what
- Remind claimants every time thier sac changes time marks
- If at the 5 minute mark you do not see the person assigned to the sac in range prepare for emergency sac.
- At the 1 minute mark follow Emergency Sac P&P
5. Emergency Sac P&P
- At the 1 minute mark make the emergency sac from the emergency stock if possible.
- Announce in WW chat that emergency sac was made, what it was, and claimer if claimed. (not necessarily in that order)
- Leave Tammie a chat with the same information.
6. The only times the first me does NOT automatically get the claim is if
- the claimer has had a large lead on the rest of the group. (i.e. if Zaniac has 500 sac's and everyone else only has 40 he needs to be gently cut off for a while lol).
- The only exception to this is if the claimer is planning on logging off for a while.
- the claimer has too many unfinished sac's resulting in emergency sacrifices.
- the claimer has been asked to sit out a few rounds for any other reason.
- While we don't want more than 21 people with matching scores we want to keep everyone's scores as equal as we can.
7. If there is an argument (which I really dont forsee but need P&P just in case) ALL parties involved will be asked to sit out a few sacrifices to privately work out thier issues.
8. ANYTIME there is a need to deny a claim, make a note as to why and pass it on to the next firesitter as well as to Tammie.
