Please read this page and the Suggested Contribution Levels and sign up if you are interested. Some thoughts on the Queen's Retreat Waterworks Project=== The Test of Life and a good Aqueduct System is a very expensive venture, but if done properly, we can pass many people and provide a very useful resource to the region.
Aqueduct System Benefits
In addition to being a test pass, there were Five major benefits to having an Aqueduct System in T3.
- The Vegetable Bonus - Near various towers there is a triple yield vegetable harvests bonus area. Veggies are grown here just like any other place, you just get 3 times as many when you harvest them.
- Growing Herbs - Herb seeds can only be planted near some aqueduct towers.
- The Attribute Bonus - You can drink from a tower and will get a 24 teppyhour (~27 RL hrs) +1 boost to a single attribute. The attribute boosted is in addition to permanent stats and in addition to food. This is especially useful when your Strength and Dexterity are not the same and you can drink to boost the lower stat to have 500 more carry.
- Moss Growth - A different varieties of moss grow at each tower. Moss is used for other tests and for monuments.

Builds a 500 foot tall tower and a one twentieth share of a 500 foot tall pump with an upgraded cistern.
If we have more than 20 people that are willing to do the "full-monty" we can adjust the fixed cost items and still collect the full amount on the variable cost items. This will allow for a higher Pump with a larger storage cistern.
This basically is the cost of a high tower near the pump and a share of the pump costs.
The costs are very high and I would suspect that a lot of "inter-Khartoun trading" to get the resources done to get this all together.
Construction costs:
42500 bricks
650 boards
2 Cable
51 canvas
1 cistern
2100 concrete - 42 Medium Stones Turned to Gravel plus Cement
5 Copper Pipe
52 copper wire
1000 Cut Stone
5 Grey Star marble
100 Iron - In case the gearboxes need a large gear
60 Leather
30 Medium Gears
6 Moon Steel Sheeting
5 Night Granite
5 Oyster Shell marble
12 Pipe Segment
4 rope
60 Small Gears
40 steel wire
50 straw
60 tar
5200 Raeli Tiles:black
5100 Raeli Tiles:white
50 Raeli Tiles:bluish
3050 Raeli Tiles:greenish
3000 Raeli Tiles:pinkish
50 Raeli Tiles:reddish
3050 Raeli Tiles:yellowish
10000 Raeli Tiles:any color tiles
2500 Rotproof Rigid Nontoxic boards
Cost of Raising the Pump
* 80,000 Bricks
* 4,000 Concrete
* 1,269 Cut Stone
* 20 Pipe Segments
* --/10 Specific Gearboxes
o 40/40 Medium Gears (estimated cost, probably less if gearboxes are 1 output gearboxes)
o 100/100 Small Gears (estimated cost, probably less if gearboxes are 1 output gearboxes)
A few High Contributor Questions...
What happens if we have less than 20 High Contributors
We can redo the math and divide the amount by the lesser number of High Contributors.
What happens if we have more than 20 High Contributors
If more than 20 people actually sign up and fully contribute the full share, we can rebate back equally to each person the extra fixed cost materials (items like the marble) after the pump is up.
All of the full contributed people would have equal opportunity in the lottery.
A High Contributor who has not fully contributed and is seriously short can be placed in the build order between the High and the Medium Contributors
We are not going to block some from the lottery if they are close to fully contributing and will trust that they will finish contributing as soon as they can.'
This basically is the cost of Pump station.
The costs are very high and I would suspect that a lot of " trading" to get the resources done to get this all together
