Yendorhut: So, when a DP wants to ban someone, the Council would meet and act as a jury to determine if the offence it bad enough

Yendorhut: By Teppy's rules, we can not make the DP any less powerful, so the Council would only be an advisory, but any DP who does not meet their wishes would be in deep doo doo

Yendorhut: I don't think our current DPs have been abusive, but this adds one more element to the game that might spice things up a bit

nezbia: Being a dp is more than just having power... it is about being an example in game
nezbia: respectful, fair, honest, willing to help and is able to lead by example
Yendorhut: well, the test is set up to see if someone can win the trust of the rest of the players
nezbia: Like I said... I am new to atitd... I have not been in other tales... so I am at a disadvantage here because I am not well known
Yendorhut: I know I could not ban someone without an impartial jury looking at the case and making a judgement
Yendorhut: well, DP is half vanity and half leadership
Yendorhut: what we have to do is weed out the players who are in the race for vanity
