QRP GLASSWORKS
Queen's Retreat Philanthropic Glassworks [505, -6469] located at the central limestone quarry is open for public use.
A cornerstone has been set in the compound for the duration of the telling by Aloahe.
Buildings scheduled for construction are:
- kitchen [done]
- small warehouse for donations [done]
- glory hole
- fleet furnace
- clinker vat
- glasier bench for soda glass
- glasier bench for normal glass
- glasier bench for jewel glass
- glasier bench for mirror making
Personal baskets may be placed along the outside wall during your crafting stay but kindly remove them when you leave. You may donate construction materials onsite as soon as the small warehouse is constructed. Donations of higher end materials are especially needed for the glory hole, clinker vat and fleet furnace. There is a good supply of clay, mud, sand, silt, water and wood with public fire pits as well.
The reason this compound was established is to make glassmaking more convenient for citizens of Egypt, especially new characters. Many have labored at this quarry without the convenience of a nearby kitchen or buildings to process there limestone. Machines located in the building are public.
If future public digs are held nearby, stone machines will be added. as well as a well stocked ceremonial tasting table and windproof incense holders.
Terms of use are simple: Fix what you break and clean up after yourself. Be courteous to others working in the area.
I hope this gift helps everyone using the limestone pit.

Feed the Camels
Citizens of Egypt, our camels are deserving of our attention as they serve us well in many capacities.
May I, Aloahe, suggest a minor change to the Dromedary Pen allowing the to accept grass for aging into straw at the rate of flax hammocks. Our beloved camels would be most appreciative.
Respctfully;
Aloahe of Queen's Retreat
