Dowsing Tips/Strategies/Theories
I'm looking for help finding ores and noticed there are no tips or strategies(for people that have no dowsing experience from previous tales) mentioned about finding veins or what kind of patterns people are observing. So if you have some general observations about how big certain veins are or where certain metals tend to appear throw them here and maybe we can throw the facts into the main page.
- I've noticed metals tend to be near other metals for example: I found copper and started dowsing across that vein(east/west) and after it ended i kept going and ran into iron. I followed the iron(nw/sw) till it ended and kept going and hit tin.
- I'd also appreciate it anyone shared some of the methods they are using to buff up perception so high. Is it eat carrot, eat herb, eat chocolate, eat herb, chocolate, etc?--Tobel 10:31, 30 December 2008 (EST)
- Chocolate <--- basically eat a chocolate then while under the effects of a chocolate eat an herb and it will add those stats(from the herb). Then find another herb with stats you like and eat a chocolate again before eating the herb and it will add those stats to the stats you got from the last herb. You can repeat until you like the total stats you got. Anytime you eat a chocolate those stats you got from all those herbs will be in effect for 3 min. You cannot eat anything grilled because it will reset the stats you built up. also can't eat an herb w/o being under the effect of a chocolate w/o resetting it too i believe.
