• Draim: looks like you're the only other one on at the moment, :) I asusume you're interested in moving on as well?
• AbasiAsim: actually I'm not. I have no really asperations to become DP.

• AbasiAsim: are you interesting in holding the title of title of DP?

• AbasiAsim: I'm willing to listen to everyone and see who would like to move on and I'll cast my vote for one of them.
• Draim: I would be (though I don't see the "title" per say as the important thing)
• AbasiAsim: *nod* It seems like the only real power you have as a DP is the power to ban people...and that's not really relativent to my interests. ;)
• Draim: currently the only technical power (though I would argue that you often end up with some more "moral" power/responsibility that ends up being more important in the end
• Draim: well moral may not be the right word, but not technical
• Draim: I do have a law that I wrote that should be on the next ballot that would expand those powers some, not a ton but in a good way I think
• AbasiAsim: what powers do you think the DP should have?

• AbasiAsim: ok I'll check it out
• Draim: the law itself does two technical changes, the 1st one is already active on the other shard, the 2nd is new (the "arrest" part)
• AbasiAsim: basically it allows you to control (stop) griefers temporarily until you decide what to do with them?
• Draim: aye, while allowing you to talk to them at the same time (which is the biggest thing imo) basically a "freeze lets figure this out" button
• AbasiAsim: yeah, I think that sounds quite reasonable
• AbasiAsim: Its better than throwing "bans" around all willy nilly. Give everyone a chance to talk things out
• Draim: I had a nice fancily worded version that is on the forums but I had to 1. change it after talking to teppy acouple times and then to cut down the word count lol but ended up with everything I wanted in the law just worded a bit differently

• AbasiAsim: well you seem like a level headed guy, you've earned points in my book. ;P
• AbasiAsim: I'll give everyone else a chance to speak, but currently I'll have you down as my choice for moving foreward.

• Draim: if people are interested I'm more then happy to set up a debate/discussion time as well
• AbasiAsim: I'm sure that if the others are interested in going foreward they will want to have a disscussion and a chance to state their position
