This building becomes available after you have learned the Kiln Construction skill. It is a more primitive and inefficient version of the True Kiln, but is the only way to make firebricks if you do not already have firebricks. There is also a Reinforced Kiln available.
Cost
- 32 Bricks
Built in a Compound. Uses 5x7 cells.
Use
- Bake 6 Wet Firebricks into Firebricks. Requires 8 Wood.
Longetivity
Once constructed, it will display "This Box Kiln will survive 4 firings". A Box Kiln will crumble to dust at a random time after the first 4 firings.
