Prove the strength of your wits through logical elimination.
1) This test should show up in the calendar daily. There needs to be at least 9 (devs can better pick the number?) participants.
2) At the specified time, players should gather at the designated UThought to sign up for the test.
3) After five minutes of sign up, a message in main will give the warning to all participants on the actual start of the test.
Such as:
- "The test of the Mastermind will begin in 30 seconds."
- "The test of the Mastermind will begin in 10 seconds."
- "Masterminds BEGIN!"
4) Upon the start of the test, every participant is given:
- A card with one unique random color.
- This card is not tradable or drop-able.
5) Furthermore, one random participant is given:
- The "Active Player" token.
- Also a message in main should indicate something like "Josephsky is the active player."
6) Players then have 20 minutes to play Mastermind. Messages in main should give warning of how much time is left and who is still active.
Such as:
- "The test of the Mastermind will end in 10 minutes. Those still in the game are: Miss Barbara, Josephsky, cate, [etc.]"
7) Whoever is the "active player" has 30 seconds to choose any opponent and pick from a drop down list of colors which one he thinks the opponent is holding.
The number of colors to choose from is the same as the number of participants. The choice and result is displayed in main for -all to see-.
Such as:
- "Miss Barbara correctly guesses that Josephsky is holding the blue card. Josephsky is eliminated. Miss Barbara is still the active player."
- "Miss Barbara incorrectly guesses that cate is holding the red card. cate is now the active player."
7) If the "active player" guesses correctly, the targeted player is eliminated from the game and their test item destroyed.
The "active player" then gets another 30 seconds to repeat the process. If the "active player" fails to guess within 30 seconds, they are eliminated and a new participant at random is given the "active player" token.
8) If the "active player" guesses wrongly, the targeted player becomes the "active player" and it's their turn to guess.
9) This process repeats until only one player remains. That player then advances. Three advances for a pass.
10) Participants who move more than 100 coordinates away from the UThought are automatically eliminated.
The final test items are removed from the winner at the end.
Possible Principles:
- Sign up for the test at a University.
- Eliminate three opponents.
