Where | Outside |
Certain large outdoor buildings cannot be built directly. They first require that a temporary structure called a Construction Site be assembled, which then is loaded with the building materials. When all the materials are loaded, the Construction Site vanishes and the new building stands in its place.
Source
This becomes available to build once you've learned the Project Management skill.
Cost
To build a Small Construction Site, you need:
Built outside. Once built, click on the site to select the desired project.
- Site self-destructs after two hours of no activity. This may be deferred by adding an item to reset the timer.
- May be disassembled for a full return of all materials and contents, including those of the site itself.
Conversions
The building requires 80 twine (spun from 27 tow). 60 of that twine is woven into canvas, and the remaining 20 is twisted into rope.
Use
Used to construct outdoor buildings that require too many materials to carry.
- Farming
- Rabbit Hutch (on dirt)
- Indonesian Bee Hive
- Thistle Garden
- Sheep Pen (on grass)
- Dromedary Pen (on sand)
- Guild Hall
- Essence of Harmony (Regional Project)
- Tests
- Shrine of Conflict
- Empty Hand Puzzle
- Architecture
- Housing
- Gardening
- Pilgrim Shrine
- Storage
- Chicken Coop
- Serpentarium
- Raeli Oven
- Venery Gathering Point for Test of the Venery
- Pathmaker for Test of the Pathmaker
- Funerary Temple for Test of the Funerary Temple
- Automatic Sawmill
- Ancient Automaton
Upon completion, most of the resulting buildings can be repositioned once. This means that the construction site need only be built in the approximate position and orientation.
