Hens are female chickens, which lay eggs when kept and fed barley or insects in a Chicken Coop. (More information can be found on the Chickens page.)
Hens consume less barley per day than roosters consume. Hens will lay eggs even if there are no roosters in the coop, but the eggs may not hatch if not fertilised by roosters.
Finding Hens
To find a hen or rooster, one must first learn the Avian Selection tech at a University of Worship.
Hens are found by examining Pale Pampas Grass close to the shore of a body of water.
