A plan of action for creating a flower with a blue middle stamen using four known mutagens and a high probability crossbreed.
Mutations
First, we will transform the first six genes of Silken to IRRIRR using four mutagens:
Calico, Green, Prickly: Silken on Right, Vampire on Left gives needed I on gene 1
Hairy,Smelly,Striped: Silken on Left, Vampire on Right gives needed I on gene 4
Hairy, Reticulated, Smelly: Silken on Left, Blush/Crown/Silken on Right gives needed R on gene 5
Phos., Spongy, Spotted: Silken on Left, Clarity/Crown/Fracture on Right gives needed R on gene 6
Cross
Now, cross the mutated Silken on Left, Blush on Right

A cross which hits (counting on silken) after the 6th gene and before the 15th gene yields a success, unless a gene is deleted before the 6th or after the 15th gene. That's approximately an 8/18, or a little less than 50% chance of success.
The actual experiment
Starting with one Silken, two Vampires, and one Crown.
Mutation 1: Pure Vampire Left, Pure Silken Right using Calico, Green, Prickly
1Silken (#16): IRROOOYYYGGGUUUIII
1Vampire (#15): IYRYIOIYIOIO
Mutation 2: Single mutation Silken Left, Pure Vampire Right using Hairy,Smelly,Striped
2Silken (#17): IRRIOOYYYGGGUUUIII
1Vampire (#18): IYRYIOIYIOIO
Mutation 3: Double mutation Silken Left, Pure Crown Right using Hairy, Reticulated, Smelly
3Silken (#19): IRRIROYYYGGGUUUIII
1Crown (#20): UROOUOOOUROOVURVOOVURVORVURORURORUROR
Mutation 4: Triple mutation Silken Left, Single mutation Crown Right using Phos., Spongy, Spotted
4Silken (#21): IRRIRRYYYGGGUUUIII
2Crown (#22): UROOUOOOUROOVURVOOVURVORVUROOURORUROR
Result: The lily was a moderate coloured Cyan down to the middle stamen, as expected.
Crossbreeding
Cross this mutated Silken on the Left Splint with a Blush on the Right.
GHawkins #23 was not accepted. This is not too surprising, only a 50% chance of success was expected. If three more attempts fail, I'll reconsider this course of action.
GHawkins #40 was not accepted.
GHawkins #49 was approved.
GHawkins #50 was approved.
GHawkins #49 and #50 have both been planted by the kitchens in Paradise Plains where they may be carefully tended until we have enough to provide uWorship in Eastern Grounds and fulfill the Blue Middle Stamen requirement.
GHawkins #49 has a pure blue outer stamen, suggesting that the cross was such that the IOV of blush was incomplete. Hence the Genome is likely one of the following, though individual genes may have doubled around the split:
IRRIRRYYYGGG|OVIOOVIOOO
IRRIRRYYYGGGU|VIOOVIOOO
IRRIRRYYYGGGUU|IOOVIOOO
GHawkins #50 has an additional magenta in the outer stemen, so the IOV of blush was preserved. Hence the genome is possible to have come from a much larger list of possibilities, with the split occurring anywhere from 7-11 along the mutated Silken genome. Splitting at 6 can be ruled out since that would involve colored petals which are not present.
