Pharaoh's Garden Game Event 5: Flowers For The Praise of Pharaoh

SCHU the god of air, has decreed that the people of Egypt shall make flower offerings in praise of Pharaoh. Orchids of many colors shall be required but only specific offerings will be worthy of consideration.

This event will be a contest of beautiful orchids and will have 2 (two) categories: Beginner and Advanced

The event will have 3 (three) parts:

• Creating the Orchids
• The Flower Show
• Awards Ceremony and Party

Creating the Orchids: 2 Hours

Registration will be by personal chit stashed in a basket at the registration area.

Note: Baskets require 28 dried flax + 8 boards

There will be two separate registration areas: Beginner and Advanced.

Players may only enter one category.

Note: There are restrictions for entering the beginner category.

Please be sure your registration is placed in the correct category registration location.

Please be sure your orchid entry is placed in the correct category location.

Note: If you have made an error in Registration or Planting please contact an Aero Club Official. (Nikara, Hanid, Zhukuram)

Beginner Orchid Flower Contest

Beginners will be paired and given 2 orchid bulbs and 1 nuts essence.

Beginners will be able to select their bulbs from a supply of bulbs.

Bulbs and nuts essence will be available at the registration area at the start of the event.

Players will access the green house located in Pharaoh's Garden for this event to create their own crossbred orchid.

Players will then plant the orchid in the Beginner Orchid Garden.

Requirements for Entry

• Beginner flowers must retain the name of player who extracts the crossbred from the greenhouse.
• Beginner flowers MUST NOT be renamed.
• Beginner flower names must have a numerical ending LESS THAN 10 (ten).
  ex: nikara#9

Only 1 (one) orchid per player is allowed in the beginner division.

Players are encouraged to open their flowers for fertilizing so that more flowers can be created.]

Advanced Orchid Flower Contest

Advanced Players may bring their own crossbred orchid to the park for entry.

Advanced Players may rename their orchids as desired.

Advanced Players may bring an existing crossbred orchid or create a new one.

An Advanced Player who wishes to create a new crossbred will have access to 2 bulbs and 1 nuts essence.

Advanced Players may access the green house located in Pharaoh's Garden for this event.

Advanced Players will plant their orchids in the Advanced Orchid Garden.

Only 1 (one) orchid per player is allowed in the advanced division.

Players are encouraged to open their flowers for fertilizing so that more flowers can be created.]

The Flower Show: 24 hours

When the Creating Orchid Event ends (2 hours), the Flower Show section will begin. This will last 24 hours.

During the flower show players may come to Pharaoh's Garden to vote on which flowers are the prettiest.

Players may vote 1 time in each division. Players voting multiple times in a division will have those votes discounted.

• ex: Player A voted for 1 Beginner Orchid and also voted for 1 Advanced Orchid - all votes will count.
• ex: Player B voted 2 times for Beginner Orchids - these votes will be discounted.

Baskets will be prepared adjacent to the flowers and labeled with the name of the entry.

Award Divisions

These are the award divisions:

1. By Secret Judge: Beginner Orchid Garden
   • First, Second and Third Place
2. By Secret Judge: Advanced Orchid Garden
   • First, Second and Third Place
3. Public Voting
   • Best of Show Beginner
   • Best of Show Advanced

There will be participation prizes for all flower entries.

There will be participation prizes for voters.

Party and Awards Ceremony

There will be a party at Pharaoh's Garden on Monday April 1, 2013

All prizes will be awarded.

Players not able to be online will have their prizes stashed in the chest array at the Flight Deck.

Please remember to return ownership when you have picked up your prize.

Special Party Favors will be given out to all participants.
