I am very lost on the relationship between the effect of base and additive ingredients relative to stats. Duration is no problem. That seems to work out fine. Haven't played since early T4 when had a spreadsheet which could very accurately predict the resulting meal, as long as you had the potencies updated.
Taking a simple meal from the recipe page, 6 grilled carrots and 1 cardamon. According to the published data the base stats for the ingredients are:
STR DEX END STR CON FOC PER
Grilled Carrots - 0 - 0 + 0 + Cardamon 0 0 - + 0 0 + Meal Stats -1 0 -4 5 3 0 5
(Sorry, can't get this thing to format a table correctly)
The GC +Con yields +3 but the -1 Str only gives a -1. As a base stat it seems they should have the same absolute value. -1 End for both gives -4 but +1 for both gives +5 Per
Logically, at least to my simple mind, says 2 +1's for Per should give a higher value than the one +1 for Spd. If the +1 Con for GS yields +3 it would seem that the Per should end up at +8, + or - rounding.
Two -'s for End should yield the same value as two +'s for Per.
Has a formula for this been worked out yet?
