The kitchen is a building that allows the processing of various food products. When upgraded with an iron cookpot, it can be used to cook meals using Recipes in a kitchen.

This building becomes available after you learn the cooking skill.

Note: 3/7/2012 -- Engineers at the Great University of Architecture report they have mad a break through in kitchen design. Now you only need a common knife blade for a coconut crusher instead of steel blades

Crush Cabbage for Cabbage Juice
Appears when you have Cabbage in your inventory
Converts Cabbage into Cabbage Juice one at a time
Crush many Cabbages at once for Juice
Appears when you have Cabbage in your inventory
Converts Cabbage into Cabbage Juice, asking you how many you want to crush
Enjoy the food
Appears after you have cooked a dish. This will allow you to consume one of the meals inside the kitchen, your stats will immediately change to reflect the cooked food's stats.
Grate Carrots for Carrot Juice
Appears when you have Carrots in your inventory
Converts Carrots into Carrot Juice one at a time

Separate Coconut Meat and Coconut Water
Appears when you have one or more Coconuts in your inventory, converts 1 Coconut into 1 Coconut Water and 1 Coconut Meat.
Uses the Stat Timers Strength
Seperate Oil from Flax Seeds
Appears when you have Flax Seeds in your inventory. Converts 10 Flax Seeds into 1 Oil

Shows the recipe of the current dish in the kitchen.
Upgrade this Kitchen with an Iron Cookpot
Requires 1 Iron Cookpot.
Allows the cooking of recipes in the kitchen.
Upgrade Kitchen with a Coconut Crusher
Allows you to place 1000 Coconuts into the kitchen and have them automatically crush them into Coconut Water. Note, this will NOT produce Coconut Meat. This will crush approximately 15 per minute.
NOTE: Do not try to load/refill the crusher while it's running. All the coconuts that you're trying to add will vanish.

Appears when you have the Preservation Skill. Allows food that has been cooked in the kitchen to be bagged so that it may be carried in a players inventory.
A bagged meal will remain fresh for 4 teppy-hours, a boxed meal will remain fresh for 24 teppy-hours.
