To aid in the gathering of resources of every one all Egyptians should set the production of the above resources going when they gather them. To do this:
*Injure cactus to produce sap, when gathering the sap.
*Re-fertilise the date palm, when harvesting dates.
*And if the feature exists this tale nick tree with resin wedge (note item 3 references to materials and tools not yet available)

Doing these acts that where probably done before you arrived will ensure that there will always be some of the material when gathering.
