Overview
Hunt for Archaeological Dig Sites on the roads of Egypt. Extract the relics from the Dig Site using an Archaeologist Shovel. Relics which have more matching attributes give you more points. The top three Archaeologists each week pass the Test.
Dig Sites
A dig site will appear as a large square of sand, with a smaller dig hole in the middle.
If you are carrying an Archaeologist Shovel, you may attempt to dig up a Relic.
- How many times you must dig will depend on the quality of your shovel and your current Perception and Dexterity stats.
- The hole may collapse before you find a relic.
Locations
- Dig sites may appear anywhere.
- They tend to be reported more in heavily trafficked areas, but this may be a detection bias.
- They do tend to reoccur in the same locations, so please enter the information if you come across one.
To be added - Separate Map page for known sites?

For example, you might find an Air of Reason that is Violet, Tiny, Indestructible, Heavy, Timeless, Functional.
Relic List
When you start the test, you will be given a list of your 14 ideal relics. Your goal is to find relics that match as many attributes as possible on your list.
Trophy Case
Built in a compound (7 x 5). Option to build is under "Tests...".
- 20 Gold Foil
- 1 Mirror
- 20 Boards
- 2 Spindle Tree Resin
- 2 Silk Cloth
- 2 Medium Diamond
- 2 Medium Sapphire
- 20 Bearings
Scoring and Passes
- When you install a relic in your Trophy Case, you will receive 1 point, with a 7x multiplier if you found it yourself.
- Each attribute on the relic that matches your ideal list will add a multiplier to the score for that relic.
- The multiplier for each attribute appears to be equal to the number of possibilities for that attribute minus 1, with the exception of color (which maxes out at 7).
- Color: 7x
- Size: 4x
- Sturdyness: 2x
- Weight: 3x
- Age: 3x
- Purpose: 4x
- You may not install more than one of a particular type of relic in the case.
- You may, however, remove installed relics, if you find a better match.
- Each week, the top three scores pass.
Trading
Although you do not get the 7x multiplier if you install a relic you did not find yourself, often it may still be better to do so if you can match more attributes.
In Tale 3, this led to an active trading market for relics.
To be added Relic Trading
Demonstration

- 1 Gold Foil
- 1 Mirror
- 1 Resin: Spindle Tree
- 1 Silk Cloth
- 1 Bearings
