Annual Competitions for Competitive Titles
There are a number of competitive tiles in Egypt. Pharaoh's Acrobat is a noted one but there are other titles that players compete for. Each title has its own requirements like teaching more facets or catching more fish. Currently these titles are held for the duration of the telling.
This proposed change allows these titles to challenged for on an annual Egyptian year basis. Each cycle the counters will reset to zero and the titles will be open to the same competition as at the start of the tale. Each title has its own rule set for obtaining the title and this would remain as defined by the title rules, only the duration would be held would be affected.
This proposal would allow for challenges and defenses of the title similar to annual sporting events. The previous winners would retain a legacy title showing their accomplishment.
Players winning multiple titles would get a title indicator of this
- ex: A player winning the title 2 times: Pharaoh's Angler on the Double.
- ex: A player winning the title 3 times in a row : Pharaoh's Angler Hat Trick.
The type, style and wording is TBD by the Devs.
Summary
Let Pharaoh declare that all Competitive Titles shall be held for one Egyptian year and a new round of competition shall begin at the first of each Egypt year.
