This is a very easy treatment. Here is a basic recipe:
- 100 Titanium
- 2 Lime to increase strength and lower corrosion
- 1 Coal to increase strength further, will also unfortunately increase corrosion back
- 2 Cactus Sap to peak strength to Hard, will also lower corrosion
- 1 Gravel to lower corrosion, will lower strength a little
- 2 Potash to push corrosion down to Stainless, will hardly affect strength
First add 100 Titanium to the bath. Then run 10s each for the ingredients above, like this:
- Lime 20s
- Coal 10s
- Cactus Sap 20s
- Gravel 10s
- Potash 20s
Different Chemical Baths behave slightly different, but the basic idea above still applies. Here is how to modify the recipe:
- If, after applying the Cactus Sap, strength is not almost fully "Hard", it might drop too low when applying Gravel later. Increase Cactus Sap to 30s in that case.
- If 20s of Potash treatment is not enough to get "Stainless", add another 10s of Potash.
- It is possible to replace 1 unit/10 seconds of Potash with 1 unit/10 seconds of Arsenic directly after the Gravel.
